V 0utlet — Local services in San Diego

Very unpleasant experience at The Outlet on Claremont Drive. The saleswoman working today was extremely rude and unprofessional. It wasn’t just her strong accent — the problem was her aggressive tone and complete lack of respect toward customers. I came in with a positive attitude but left feeling humiliated.

The price tag showed $2.99 for an item. At the register I was charged $5.72. At the cashier they told me it would be $3.72, but on the receipt it showed $5.72. I walked out, checked the receipt, and came back immediately (within 2–3 minutes) to ask why I was overcharged. The cashier explained that it was because I paid with a card. However, even with San Diego sales tax and their $0.50 card fee, the total should only be around $3.72. Instead, I was charged $5.72 — meaning about 70% of the product’s price was unfairly taken from me. When I asked for a refund, they refused, saying they don’t accept returns, even though the product was non-perishable, unopened, and I had just purchased it minutes earlier. This practice is misleading, dishonest, and feels like outright theft...

Cool store....not everything is .99 cents. The prices are on the items if it's not a dollar. Has a little bit of pretty much everything imaginable!! Except NO ICE! They don't sell ice!! Oh and milk...only sell boxed milk. However they do put it in the fridge so its cold. Too expensive though in my opinion...$2.99 for a quart. If I remember correctly it's half of a half gallon for $3, I think that's too much! Other than that the ice in the milk the store is really cool! It has clothes, underwear, socks, hats, all snacks cookies crackers, cooking oils, bathroom amenities, cooking pots pans, even home decor! If you've never been it's worth going to...

Hey this store is pretty cool because it's like the $.99 cent store but with a twist because they have items that are worth more than $.99 and cost more than $.99. like today I bought a brand new bottle of eye drops allergy relief eye drops for two bucks brand new and a picture frame also 2 bucks and get since I'm getting older and age and harder to see but these nice little magnifying things I could hold my pocket and whatnot for, you guessed it, 2 bucks so yeah pretty cool also this place has a nice little front counter display cabinets for those of you who like, shall we say, glass...
