I really hate to leave a bad review and about shrimp, of all things, but my last lunch here honestly left me feeling scammed. The shrimp cocktail is $23.50 and I was expecting a good number of shrimp for that price with maybe some house cocktail sauce that the kitchen was proud of. I figured I might even get a martini glass shrimp cocktail presentation out of it. Not necessary, but for nearly $24 then maybe those shrimp are dressed to impress.
I was, instead, presented with 6 small, tepid, sad shrimp arranged in a line on a plate and with what was suspiciously ketchup-y as its sauce. With taxes, that's over $4 per shrimp! Not even gussied up shrimp or even a nice sauce you'd want to dip a sad shrimp in. Just 6 sad little shrimps lined up on a plate with a pot of sad watery sauce. If the shrimp had faces, I'm sure they'd have hidden them in shame. I found myself honestly a little sad that they had given their lives for what amounted to a sample day at Costco. At least then, I could have filled up on 12 hotdogs for the same shrimpy cost!
Suffice it to say, I feel pretty ripped off and won't be going back. The building is very pretty but the shrimp...
