Updating the review: Been coming here for over a year now. Everything written before still applies. This is a solid neighborhood studio that is always trying to innovate by putting together new classes and events. There are some very intuitive instructors that I truly love! Most recently, the studio has had more frequent Women Circles, which is a very nice touch. * * * * * * * Been coming to honey yoga for the last month and feel both comfortable and challenged here. All teachers have the best playlists - have you done yoga listening to music? Game changer! They encourage you to tune in and approach your practice respecting your body and your limits. Adjustments are welcome. To invite that sort of body awareness, you don’t practice looking at a mirror. The studio can get pretty crowded, depending on the class but I guarantee you: it’s very diverse, people don’t look the same in age, gender, body shape, ethnicity, flexibility or years of practice. I love that! It normalizes yoga.

So glad my friend Solange recommended this studio to me! The studio is a wonderful, loving community that offers such a good variety of classes. I love that I can go one place for vinyasa, restorative, & prenatal yoga classes. They also offer a HIIT class for those looking for a more intense workout. I also love that they offer classes at different times of the day. So whether you are an early morning or after work fitness person you can find a class that works for you. As a first time mom to be the prenatal classes have been such an amazing place to come Sunday mornings to be in community with other women going through similar experiences. Also attending the prenatal yoga classes have given me the confidence to attend other yoga classes because I have been taught great modifications I can do during a regular vinyasa flow class.

Finally found a space to learn/practice yoga that feels welcoming for all people, body types, genders, fitness levels, etc. Everyone has been supportive and motivating. So far I’ve enjoyed taking the beginners series which helps to get the fundamentals down and progress from there, as well as the slow honey class taught by Jomally which is slow but a tad bit intense and overall a well-rounded class for all levels. I love it here and happy I found Honey on my yoga journey.

I signed up for the 6am class with Amanda via the MindBody Android app...5 mins before the class started haha...and bought the new client $30 for 30 package so I can be unlimited this month and try all the classes. Amanda's Honey 60 class was just what the Dr. ordered! I was on the island of Hawaii last week and hiked Waipio Valley's massively steep grade...my hamstrings have hated me ever since...until this morning!

The studio is so cute! They have all the "extras" you'd expect of a boutique yoga studio: Blocks, Blankets, Cushions, Aromatherapy, straps, dim lighting, even lavender scented eye masks and an Aloe Vera plant.

The studio is easy to find, and highly inviting. The website has great personality. And, I love their logo and brand...It's adorable, professional, and relatable.

Amanda's class was so great! She's an incredibly talented instructor. She gently corrected my form (with my permission), where needed, added the right pressure to intensify the stretches, where appropriate, and even closed with a light, relaxing head massage during Shavasana.

I'm looking forward to continuing my practice...

I am completely new to yoga, so new that my yoga journey started with Honey yoga opening their doors a few months back. This studio and its owners Bridgette and Olivia are absolutely wonderful and delightful. They are so warm and Inviting and I truly feel as if I’m part of a family. Also they always remember my name and greet my when I walk through the door! (Talk about accountability!) The practices are well rounded, definitely a perfect fit for newbies like myself or those who can stand on one hand and can bend themselves into cute little pretzels. I am always supported and encouraged by the instructors and have never felt like I am out of my league with the great mix of skill levels in the practices. I actually enjoy having such different skill levels, makes me set goals farther then just being able to touch my toes! They also offer classes to help focus on different elements of yoga practice which have been great as well. I always leave feeling inspired and loved. I’m so appreciative of these Honeys and truly love this gem in our...
