Crispy Fried Chicken — Restaurant in San Diego

The so called manager here is so rude. Food good but customer service is far from good. The staff is normal very nice but today I visited the restaurant and received great service from the cashier. But when we got home we noticed our food was under cooked for the second time in less then two weeks. So I called and let the cashier know and she referred me to the manager who was very rude and unprofessional. And told me the owner is never inside the location just observe the restaurant through surveillance. The food here has always been good, so I guess they fail in the customer service department to make up for it. Great place to eat just don't have an issue because fixing it won't be so easy. I'm 36 years old and mom used to bring me here before she passed away when I was 13 or 14 and me and my family has been dinning here ever since. You would just expect more customer service after 20 plus years of patriotism and supporting this business they would treat your value as a customer with more respect and not insults with...

"Wow! I stopped by yesterday after a long time, and let me tell you, it was absolutely delightful. We tried the Fried Shrimps and more. Next time I will take a picture but it was so good, that I forgot to take some. THEY were delicious and MASSIVE. We also didn't order mashed potatoes because it was late, but the staff kindly found a little bit left and included it in our bag for free! We discovered this thoughtful surprise when we got home and checked the bag. It's these small gestures that make a big difference.

While I thoroughly enjoyed the food, I do wish they would consider sprucing up the interior to create a more welcoming atmosphere. Instead of investing solely in equipment, a bit of investment in the ambiance could really enhance the overall experience for customers.

Just tried for first time. I am now a true believer! Was initially skeptical but willing. Place was packed before I got in line, duringy my time in line & as I left. While line is daunting bit actually moves very fast and very worth the patience. Ry one I spoke to while waiting agreed and was pleasantly nice. The Chicken I had was The BEST fried chicken I have eaten(65 years of eating) Blows away ALL chain chicken places. The batter was krispy, light, tasty minus not greasy and the chicken was tender and moist all served hot! As good as the chicken is, I found heaven with the Chicken livers.
