La Loupe Vintage — Local services in San Diego

I first heard about this place from a coworker when I was living in LA. She said La Loupe was one of her fav vintage shops in SoCal. So when I moved back home to SD about 10 years ago, I started coming to La Loupe regularly. I almost always find something cute in here, and can never leave empty handed! La Loupe is a vintage store with great buys and a great atmosphere! You feel like you're in a super hip boutique but you don't have to faint at any outrageous prices! I've bought a few really cute skirts and dresses here and I am always in love with the jewelry they put out. There are also larger sizes available, which is sometimes really hard to find in vintage places. Definitely follow La Loupe on Facebook or at least pay attention to the moon, they have full moon sales and that's when absolute steals appear. I found an ADORABLE velvet dress for $5! A lot of cute stuff, but that doesn’t take away from the way my boyfriend and I were treated during our shopping experience. One of the ladies asked us if we had a return because we were carrying around a brown bag from another store which was kind of odd, we had a keychain in our hand we were planning on buying and we decided to put it back and walk out and after changing our minds and going back she had the audacity to ask if we BROUGHT it back as if we stole it and came back to pay.
