La-Z-Boy San Diego — Local services in San Diego

I have to say we were pleasantly surprised when walking into this Lazy Boy store since some of these reviews aren’t so good BUT Sunday afternoon we decided to go ahead and visit this location. It’s located in the Home Depot shopping center of Mira Mesa. We walked in and within a minute we’re greeted and welcomed but we were not constantly being followed like some other furniture stores ( and car dealerships)but instead was just casually acknowledged every so often. Granted we were there for a good amount of time. Then when we did have questions they were answered promptly and professionally, plus we were shown other options that we may have liked. Oh, and I forgot to mention, this store is huge! Did not expect that, and was told it’s the 2nd biggest LB show room in SoCal. We didn’t purchase on this visit but was sent home with lots of great information….and we will be returning, probably sooner than later! I want to give a shout out to Mayra, you’re doing a great job and welcome to San Diego! So, don’t hesitate to go check out this store, the employees that were working on Sunday whilst we were there all seemed very knowledgeable and professional. Sandy. This was our first time buying furniture at La-Z-Boy in Mira Mesa and we couldn’t have been more pleased. We were looking for a new recliner sofa and they have an extensive collection of well designed and well made pieces. But the biggest factor of this 5* rating is due to the excellent customer service we received for our Sales Associate, Jeffrey, and Christina, the in-store Designer, who worked with us. Working with her is a FREE service that La-Z-Boy provides. Christina came out to our home to see our family room and after taking photos and measurements, she designed a new look for our room, combining pieces we we wanted to keep with other elements she suggested would complete the look of the room. I was just beginning the process of looking to redo my family room and was feeling overwhelmed. Thankfully, as soon as I walked into the Mira Mesa store I was greeted by Jessica who happened to be their in house designer. She listened to my desires and concerns and was very helpful in showing me and my husband styles, fabrics and furniture pieces that would work in our space and with the two current furniture pieces that we’re planning to keep. It was also so helpful to have the option of a free in home consultation and to see 3D renderings of our space with the new pieces. When it came time to purchase she explained everything thoroughly and made sure to double check items and fabrics.
