Ross Dress for Less — Local services in San Diego

Rude security. I find it difficult to go to this Ross for the past one year. This happened last year and wasn’t ever properly addressed. My mother was visiting. And it being near to my place, we went there a lot. Always picking a couple things. One day we had a return and the cashier made an excuse and offered store credit. Sine we were shopping a lot we took the credit. She asked for my license and after checking I kept it back in my bag. She forgot to give me the actual crouched and I realized this as soon as I got home. The next day we were back and I told another cashier of the same during checkout. The security lady came shouting at me at how she had seen me on the CCTV. She created a scene for 10$! I walked out and irrespective of how many times I have tried to shop here again, I am just put off by a place that accused me of defrauding them of the life changing amount of 10$ & never made it up to me. Bad customer service at this place ! The associates look down on customers and acts like they are customers ‘ bosses with very bossy attitude ! I don’t mind if the store is not organized, but the customer service is important to me . I don’t want to mention name here but the cashier was extremely mean and rude toward me today ! I was very frustrating because growing up in this country , this is the first time I ever experience this unusual situation with a cashier. I could call corporate office to file a complain but I am nice person , I just let it go , move on ! I try not to go here anymore even though it’s close to my house! Most other Ross stores are great : Carmel Mountain , Poway and Clairemont are much better ! Associate are very nice ...

Yes, it's true you can find great deals.

I give it 4 ⭐'s because it's perfect for parents with teenagers.

And it lost a star because all the jeans are too short for women and I'm 5'4, smh.

This is a very neat and organized store, I appreciate this.

Also good if you have to put a fit together quickly from beachwear to date night. Or if you spill a cup of coffee on your shirt I need to purchase something cute under 10 bucks.

I did purchase Violet salt and Australian sea salt. That was a deal!

Located in a shopping plaza with ample parking. Inside the store is wheelchair mobility friendly with plenty of space to maneuver.
