OB Thrift Store & Vintage Clothing — Local services in San Diego

I have serious health issues/disease, and they make it excruciatingly painful for me to stand and walk for extended periods of times. I had originally thought the lady at the front counter was very nice but she then came screaming at me and shouting at me that I was rude because I sat down in a chair and put my bare foot slipped out of my flip flops on the corner of a wooden box. In no way was I trying to be rude but I could no longer stand so I was taking a short break. I was in a lot of pain. And instead of politely asking me to stand up or asking me not to put my foot on the corner of this box, this woman (apparently the store owner) comes shouting at me that I'm rude. Who's rude?

I would have really liked to purchase a jacket and some locks and surely a few other things, but after being shouted at, no thank you. Had she politely asked me not to sit down or not to put my foot on the box, I would have purchased the few items I had already picked out and come back when I wasn't in so much pain.

My wife and I have donated in total, probably close to 30-40 full trash bags of incredible articles of clothing, furniture, decore, and other new or barley used items to this place from the opening of this store. We have continuously returned multiple times a month to also purchase and support the business.

Today, I got a call from my wife, a long time loyal customer....she was literally crying...

She went on to explain, the the female owner of the business yelled and berated her this afternoon while she was shopping at the store bc my wife was explaining that she accidentally donated a few wrong items...

Regardless of the reason, these owners have zero self awareness or appreciation for the locals that continuously donate and support their business. They are the ones that benefit for PROFIT from "OUR DONATIONS AT NO COST."

A message to the owners....

I very disappointed in th e store I came all the way from San Isidro to sell a old Indian drum & a cool old picture but when I xall mr Alexandros awnser the phone zabd proceeded it to buy for $20 went the drum it self is worth $60 but the insecure husband accused me of being disrespectfull which I never did he was the one but any way Genova were the pants in that marriage iwas crucified vharge and no 5 th amendment im a 20 year USMC retired & I wood never be disrespectufuul to any one especially a beautifully woman like her the guy don't have a clue & how to treat his customer so thank foe nothing & good luck with the family if she wants to adios & prey on the week & homeless people of ob God bless you have your husband not to be a cry baby that is why I send you ghe pictures in the first place so you cood decide not him so on the future you handle the business & he can clean the store & by the way I fought for...
