We are very grateful to the staff of Pacific Kitchens for guiding us through the process of refacing our kitchen and bathroom cabinets as well as helping us with the granite counters tops, sinks, faucets and garbage disposal. The referral came from our neighbor who had the cabinets refaced in their condo and they looked elegant. We were impressed with the craftsmanship and appearance of the finished product and decided to visit your showroom.

We are so pleased and satisfied with the whole process from the day we walked into the office and were greeted by Jeff the owner and Mary Lou. Both were so positive, caring and attentive to our needs with great follow up. Mary Lou answered all our questions and coordinated the entire project and scheduled Allen to come to our home the next day to show us many samples of materials and get an idea of what we wanted done – we are so happy we decided to have Pacific Kitchens do the work for us. Allen gave us the estimate and we accepted and signed the contract.

Tom Hoffman did all the measurements for the cabinets in both bathrooms and kitchen, granite counter tops, new Silgranit Kitchen Sink and the sinks in both bathrooms. Since Pacific Kitchens was responsible for installing our new Stainless Steel Microwave, Gas Stove Top and Electric Oven he coordinated with Martin from MTrac Electric to relocate the large electric box behind the oven so the new oven would fit properly. He knew the questions we’d have and supplied the answers – a great person.

Chris, our installer, was very detailed orientated, meticulous, and took great pride in his work. He sealed off the area to keep the dust to a minimum thus allowing us to stay in our unit. We were very pleased with the plumbing, the installation of the 25 cabinet doors and the 10 new drawers he made in our condo – they look fabulous. Chris’ portion of the job was completed in eleven days right on schedule.

Michael and Armando, from The Counter Top Company, took several hours to install the granite in the kitchen and both bathrooms – this company works in conjunction with Pacific Kitchens. Like Chris they did a phenomenal job.

Rick did the final inspection by checking the following:

a. Cabinet moldings and he made sure the doors and drawer fronts were properly aligned b. The handles and accessories were installed and bumper pads were on all the doors c. Connected the plumbing (water off for one night under the sinks to allow granite to dry) d. Rick framed our two bathroom vanity mirrors with wood that matched our cabinets – beautiful indeed.

It is wonderful to find a team like the staff at Pacific Kitchens who will go the extra mile to assure peace of mind every step along the way. Their availability, and most of all their professionalism, knowledge, generosity and kindness can’t be matched. They took us under their wing and guided us through every detail of the process to completion.

Very poor follow up and customer service !

We had refacing done many years ago from Pacific and the work was good. Needing some remedial work done, Tom came to the house to appraise the job. I asked him when the estimate would be ready. He said "next week". After 2 weeks, nothing. When I called asking why I didn't hear from him, he blamed the estimate being stuck on another person's desk. I finally got it later that week, but was really put off by this attitude of "whenever" vs when he told me he'd have it. I'm thinking, "Do I really want to do business with these people who can't even be reliable on an estimate timetable? Doesn't giving a customer an estimate help create business for them? Do they care?"

Six weeks later - time having smoothed out my earlier frustration - I called Tom asking for the quote again. ( I couldn't find my notes from before. They never email a quote, in fact, don't do email at all, and don't furnish a hard copy.) He said he would have to look for it and call me back. I asked when I could expect his call. He said, "tomorrow". Well - do you see a trend here? - tomorrow stretched out to the next week. 6 days later he still hadn't called back!! I had to try to call him again, and then again the following day. Enough is enough!

Is their business really that good that you can irritate repeat, or any customers for that matter? On returning phone calls??? Not once, but twice, and then again ! Carbon copy crummy customer service!!! Thinking the owner might want to know, I spoke to Jeff to express my frustration. While he was apologetic, he blamed his own vacation for overloading Tom - thus blaming himself! To me, this is how poor customer service behavior is enabled. Sorry - doesn't fly - especially the second time around. I'll find another company that acts like they want...

From the day we walked into the showroom, we knew we had come to the right place. Mary Lou greeted us with a friendly smile and ascertained what we were considering in a kitchen cabinet and countertop make-over. She was very knowledgable and helpful in showing us the various products the company used. We made an appointment to have a rep come to our house the following week. He too was very clear in explaining the entire process--how to prepare and what to expect as work progressed. Glen was our installer and we couldn't have asked for a better professional. He went over and above what we expected. He found pre- existing problems and fixed them. He always had our satisfaction in mind in every aspect of the job. Every day he left the place neatly swept and all his tools stacked out of the way. We appreciated all of his suggestions as the project went forward. Once everything was completed, someone came out to check the work and to make sure that we were happy.Our kitchen is now so bright and beautiful. We would recommend Pacific Kitchens to everyone.
