Q Nails Salon — Local services in San Diego

My daughter and I went in to get our nails and pedicures as first time customers at this salon today. My daughter had dip nails with tips and I got a full set with ombre powder. My daughter’s nail tips do not lay flat against her fingernail, so you can see a gap between the artificial tip and real her nail. While prepping her nails her cuticles were cut and bled - on top of that a spray bottle with rubbing alcohol was used on her hands. Very unpleasant with her newly raw cuticles. Her nails definitely turned out subpar. A few nails on my left hand are at a slight angle - other than that they look great. Will never come back. I made an appointment for me and my nieces at the same time. Came in, two ladies started working on the two of us and no one attended to my other niece. Then another lady finished a client and went directly to a new client that just walked in. I raised a concern with the ladies working here, because this was not a fun experience for my niece who just sat there looking at us getting our nails done. Ridiculous. It’s hard trying to find a good manicurist. I went in with no expectations, and actually was really impressed by Mindy. She was very thorough and took her time, I noticed a bubble in my nail from the gel and I just wasn’t going to say anything and let it be and she actually saw it and took care of the bubble!
