THE SHORT: I was wildly disappointed with my order of garlic fries. THE LONG: there was a phase in my life where I would order the garlic fries from Chili's restaurant every single day and they were consistently and undeniably outstandingly delicious ...whether piping hot right out the oven, or cold. Basically no matter what, they always satisfied my craving. So one day, up grew my craving , and I decide to try out this joint. I was excited and hungry. Ordered. Waited....and BoOm! What!? Extreme dissatisfaction to a level that could cause Gahndi to go on a violent rampage. Here's how it went down: I'm willing to admit that I took the fries alone into my car to eat them. I didn't want any other whifts of burger flavors drifting by, to intercept and interrupt my fries delight...and the smell indeed was beyond tempting. I take the first bite and really no flavor was happening. I thought to myself as I was chewing..." okay, at least half of flavor is what you smell, sooooo something's wrong here!" the smell was crazy delicious, but they taste like nothing... literally nothing! and I'm not a bland flavor type of person. I like my garlic to be real garlic ...or garlic powder that tastes as good is fine as long as its garlicky and salty! but no! they tasted like nothing... I could see all the bits of garlic and the green leaves ( which are believed to be parsley) confusion and desperation set in, so I decided to change up my strategy... Perhaps no flavor because I was eating them to slowly? I started shoveling them in, waiting for the flavor eruption.... Like maybe it was one of those flavor delays that happens with some foods?.. but now soon enough all the fries were gone and I was so unsatisfied, that I went to Chili's and got my garlic fries. :( money spent, and calories ingested for nothing.... I will never be back...
Read moreA hidden gem! My wife and I wanted to check out the eateries in this local strip mall and Gaglione Brothers caught our eye. Upon walking in the staff was very friendly and inviting. Other guests would come in and instantly strike up conversation with them. There are places the have juvenile, careless and playful employees and places that have employees that simply enjoy what they do. These people enjoy what they do. You could feel the vibe. The cashier was very helpful with order suggestions and we opted to go with the original cheesesteak 12" with onions, a side of garlic fries and a fountain drink.
The condiment bar was impressive, with several selections of peppers, ranging from sweet to rather hot, as well as other various sauces.
The moment I was handed the tray I could smell the garlic aroma. It wasn't coated with powder, but bits of chopped garlic. The sandwich, although ordered as one 12", was cut in half and placed in two baskets. Another plus in their customer service. My wife and I sampled the fries first. Although the aroma was "in your face", the taste was not. They were perfectly seasoned!
The sandwich... This got me! It was melt-in-your-mouth good! I've been to Philadelphia Sandwich Company in Miramar and wasn't overly impressed. One would think that a place named for the sandwich would stand out. Gaglione Brothers blows it away! The bun was fresh, soft and light. The medium-fine chopped beef was very tender, with no random bits of chewy meat. It was perfectly married with American cheese and onions. The onions were not long stringy slivers but, rather, medium-chopped pieces that were just as tender as the meat itself.
Overall, the meal and visit were well worth our time. We will...

My husband and I eat here every few months and have always had great food and service. This time that was not the case. The person at the register was not very friendly and seemed rather annoyed to have to take our order. I did notice the person who took our order clocked out right after so they could have just been ready to leave, not a good reason to at least say hi or something.
My husband ordered the pepper steak and I ordered the mushroom steak and cheese fries. We get home with our food and found no mushroom steak. We had the pepper and cheese fries but instead of mushroom we had a Baja. Normally I would just let it go and move on because mistakes happen.
This time though is different. I am currently getting chemo and it has ruined my stomach and taste buds, peppers and spicy foods are the worst for me. My husband took the Baja(which has jalapenos) and I pulled as many peppers off the pepper steak I could. They were both good but I could only eat a quarter of mine because it was causing mouth and stomach pain.
The only saving thing was the cheese fries, those were as good as...
