This was my FIRST time and probably the worst experience ever. It started with Valentina messing up my order while at drive through, I asked for "3 by meat" and said I want 2 burgers, Idk how she translated that to 2 cheeseburgers, when I got to the window, I was greeted by another employee by the name "BRECKAN KR", as he was confirming my order i re-verified,it turned out completely wrong, everything was wrong and now he had to place a brand new order, more wait time, as it was done the wrong way.......he quickly apologizes and "fixes" it, he struggles a lot on his computer to add the "3 meat burger", he keeps on talking to someone on his head set, as he cant find the right code, he keeps stating" am i kidding, this is a legitimate order, why cant I find it?" Then charges me $17 some change and asks me to proceed to next window, mind you because the order went wrong with Valentina, i made sure to ask my questions, he kept saying "Right on Right on, as if he got it" now as i am reading the itemized bill i move over to second window to collect food, after checking i realized that i am billed completely differently, I am now charged for cheese, when I asked Brecknan is cheese part of the 3 meat burger (which i clearly did at the window, to which he says yes, i asked pack that separate). At this point- 40 minutes have passed, from initial order with Valentina, to Breckan's corrected order with extra charge on cheese, now comes window number 3, here comes manager ADRI( She was LOUD/ Not polite/CONDESCENDING young lady) She yells out the window to confirm what I asked, at this point I am super flustered I explain this started with the initial person, She was like "Pull over flash your hazards Ill refund you the $3 for cheese, what card did you use, can i get your credit card" No empathy/No Kindness/Just plain high pitched talk, I pull over in the parking lot, at this point it is almost 6 pm (1 hour has passed with all this confusion). Brecknan brings order to car, I asked for the sauce, no sauce was provided, IN my order i also ordered a no salt pup patty, No patty, but definitely charged! I am beyond frustrated at this point, I walk in i ask for ADRI , She continues to ignore,She is packing up other orders for other customer, asked for her 2 times, She then finally comes and states "Oh i handed you the pup patty at the window!!!" OK! at this point, after all this nonsense, I am livid after she lies, She lied!! I had to give her the benefit of doubt, thinking maybe I am not remembering I go back to my car and ask her to come with me to my vehicle to check, She never handed me ANY PUP PATTY, Ever! Then she states, ill get you one, at this Breckan yells and tells her i got one ready already, I ask her to check her cameras, All of this was the worst customer service ever. ADRI supposedly the manager, not once offered a substitute, or a coupon, or anything, They messed up orders right from the start, I went through 3 people in total- please see attached receipts. THIS Place needs better people!! Good luck ordering through the 3 who were involved today, please send your employees to receive some STAR training, especially...
Read moreThis is my favorite In-N-Out to come to the drive thru and the layout for the employees inside is very nice to you're likely to get a really good burger, at least compared to the In-N-Outs back in the South. You'll get asked 4 main questions if you let them guide you: Would you like Onion? (Get grilled). Would you like a fry? (Regular or Animal) Would you like a drink? (Large is only an extra 15 cents). Would this be to eat in the car? (Say this verbatim for best results "Can I get it boxed with a lid for to go please". Make sure you say that last bit just like I've written it, it makes eating in the car less messy and easy to dispose.
What I Ordered: Double Double Animal Style with extra grilled onions, add chillies, replace the spread for ketchup and mustard with an order of regular fries and a medium Diet Coke in a box with a lid for to go.
Condiments: 4 Spread, 4 Ketchup, 1 chillies
But seriously this drive through is always quick, they gave me a proper burger and the fries were hot. That drive was moving successfully and I was very pleased with my visit. That means that the management and the crew is good and I mean when I worked here it was because the entire store was rewarded for their sales and great service so I can't overstate that this is literally the crowned best In-N-Out of San Diego, curtesy of Daygo Eats. Come visit it and be excited to know that the burger will be fireee. Overall, DAYGOEATS...
Read moreI have to say that In-N-Out is the best fast food restaurant and that this new location is rockin' it! Here's why:
First, the staff that works from 9:30 pm until 1 am is AMAZING! I wish I could remember everyone's names, but tonight, it was Eric taking our orders in the drive thru, and he was as professional and friendly as could be. His "right on" always makes my day. :-) Every staff member does their best to make it a positive experience. Seriously, whatever In-N-Out is doing when they hire, they are hitting a home run!
Second, they've never gotten our order wrong! How many places can say that? Sure, maybe they have a smaller menu, but we always order our food custom and they get it right every time. I love that they repeat the order numerous times to ensure that they don't make a mistake. Totally works.
Third, even when they are crowded (I could see inside the restaurant and wow, it was packed tonight), they just keep things moving. I never wait more than 10-15 minutes in the line, even when it's around the building and into the parking lot.
I truly admire the business model of In-N-Out and hope they know how much they're appreciated. So grateful that this...
