Ordered 3 small Ice creams, and 2 medium ice creams on Uber eats pick up (not delivery) which cost me $60. This is 40% more than their menu prices. My app said it would be ready in 25 minutes. I waited and then arrived in 25 minutes. They didn’t even begin making my order until I arrived. It took an additional 15 minutes for my order to be made. My ice cream was missing brownie (main ingredient in my 2 medium sized ice creams). The girl making my order chopped up ingredients and each cup ended up too small. So, she just scooped plain (not mixed with ingredients) ice cream to plop on the top of each so it wasn’t too tiny. It’s against Uber eats contract to charge more than the menu price in house. California law has a limit of which 3rd party services can charge which is 20%. So, why charge 40% more than the menu price on an Uber pick up order? Completely ridiculous. The in store price for medium ice cream is 8.50, but on the app I paid $12.50. This is super greedy and just not right. I will not be returning. All in all, it was a waste of my time and money. If I was told there was no ice I would NOT have ordered warm strawberry milk. I asked if I could replace the smoothie with another item. I was then told there are no compensations, I asked for my money back the store/brand does not give refunds, I asked to speak to the manager, OF COURSE the manager was NOT around. The employee then said they add extra flavoring to compensate for running out ice, still…it’s not a f@&$!)? smoothie. I left my number, not expecting to get a call from the manager. In the end I’m out $8 and did not get what I ordered. I’m sure I’m not the only one that has experienced this. Read moreTwo stars for the original manager who opened this place, he was wonderful and deserved 25 stars. I don’t think he’s there anymore because Every visit after that was a disaster, we try to avoid this shop now. The people who are hired to work here just don’t care. They have an attitude and don’t want to be working. The younger kids who work here have their hair hanging all over your ice cream and don’t know how to greet or thank customers. The older people who work here can’t care less. One of them told me they can’t mix flavors in size medium I explained that every time we came before they gave me three dif flavors, no problem. He refused to and said they won’t do it even in a size large. We left.
Oh and the ice cream is ridiculously expensive! A small with one topping (they charge extra for toppings) was $8. Eight...
