I would give zero stars if I could. I just left this nail salon and I’m shaking…I got my nails done a week ago and I did not like the color so I went back in and asked for a polish change. The woman working there tried to hustle me for a fill and told me I was there 3 weeks ago… I showed her a picture on my phone I took and proved that I was literally there a week and a half ago I did not need to fill yet… I just wanted a polish change. She was rude to me the entire time ..slapping my hands and being rough with my hand and being rude and mean during the polish change. I went to go pay and she charged me $40 for a polish change!!!! I asked her well how much is a fill and she said $45!!!!!??? . What salon charges $40 just for a polish change when I just got my nails done (a full set ) a week and a half ago??? I’m livid!!!! This was my second time at the salon the first time I went in I spent over $100 and tipped 20%.. I cannot believe the treatment I received going back a second time and just asking for a polish change because the color was not what it looked like on the “ example nail” they have there. I’m so upset!! I have been getting my nails done for over 15 years and I have never left a bad yelp review but they put a really bad taste in my mouth and I feel very taken advantage of and don’t want this to happen to anybody else …do not go here!!! I’ve been a happy customer for 3 years now! Previously known as Sensation Nails and Spa, now known as Top Nails and Lashes located in Hillcrest. They remodeled the place and it looks super nice inside. New chairs and tables, artwork, and it looks much brighter inside. I love that they offer water, soda, and tea when you come in.

A huge shout out to their staff: Mimi, Jennie, Linda, and Holly. I continue to come back here because of how nice they all are and the great service they provide. I usually get gel manicures and pedicures, and occasionally, dip manicure and gel manicure for longer vacations. Mimi is amazing with dip and gel designs. If you’re unsure about the color, they’re all pretty good with trying it on 1 nail and asking if you like it or not.

Parking can be a pain in that plaza so just be mindful if you go during busy lunch hours. I usually try to go in the morning or early afternoon. They take reservations but I usually just walk in. If there’s a line in front of you, they’ll give you an estimate of what time to come back so you can do other things rather than waiting there.

Overall, I will continue to be a loyal customer here for their very reasonable pricing, great hospitality, and wonderful...

Mimi is great! She is so genuinely friendly and very fast with my nails! I vaguely explained what I had in my mind and somehow she just understood and did exactly what I wanted! I’ve been shopping around a lot of the nail places around this area and there are a LOT to choose from!! One was just overpriced and the ladies were never really very friendly, one had zero parking, one left my nails a little lumpy, one place told me one price when I asked BEFORE the service and then charged me a higher price after the service, they said some weird thing about what polish they used, so for varied reasons I’ve been looking for “my new place” in my new neighborhood- I am happy to say I think I’ve found my new go-to nail shop!! Even the other customers were easy going, friendly and genuine women, we all enjoyed the conversations! Highly recommend and I’m definitely going back!
