I was very disappointed with my experience at this salon. To preface, apparently they had an employee call off that morning, which I can be understanding with maybe having to wait longer… But I am unsatisfied with many things about my experience here, and the timing caused other issues. First, I had to wait about 30 minutes before someone started on my hair- and I had an appointment. This was my first time at the salon so I came prepared with hair history, reference pictures, etc. My stylist did not seem knowledgeable about the different types of services and asked what method I wanted her to use to get the result of the picture I showed… While getting products washed out of my hair at the sink, my stylist stepped away and had the front desk manager wash my hair. I could tell that this person was not an hair stylist by the quality of the wash- they basically ran the hose on my hair and that’s it. The amount of time that products were in my hair was thus effected by the change in employees and I believe the timing issues is what led to the damage of my hair as pictured. My hair was not damaged before- I work very hard to take care of my hair and was previously getting so many compliments on the health of my hair. Additionally, the salon was dirty. There was black residue found in my ear from the towels they used to dry the inside of my ears after the wash. So the towel was dirty. The floors were filthy. There was hair left in my chair from the previous client. The salon chairs were terrible quality and scratched against the floor every time you are turned. There were flies landing on my shoes while in the chair. Additionally, when I arrived home I noticed my cartilage piercing was no longer in my ear. I have only taken it out a few times and it has never fallen out since I’ve had the piercing. It was pulled out of my ear somehow and I had to return to the salon days later to retrieve it. And when I went to pick it up they gave me a hard time for coming an hour prior to the time that they closed. The damage to my hair wasn’t as evident in the salon. So once I realized how bad the damage was when seeing it in natural light, I provided pictures and asked for a refund. My request was denied despite me showing them pictures and expressing that my hair was not damaged before. The ends of my hair are also breaking off (not pictured) and I am having to spend money and time searching for other products to reverse the damage. I will not be returning to this salon and I would not recommend...
Read moreThe 2 people there were BEYOND nice, so I feel awful to write a bad review. I wasn't going to, but I realized it must be addressed bc some hairdressers need to realize to TAKE THINGS SLOW. I basically got a whole 6 inches of hair taken off when I had originally just went in for a trim. I actually went in to get just a face frame pieces blended, but I ended up leaving as if my intention was an entirely new look. I did agree that I needed my dead ends removed, but it was not 6 inches of dead ends. I'm lucky I can even put my hair up; it bareeeeely makes it up in a messy bun. I don't care what the length of the hair was that fell on the floor; that's an optical illusion espeically bc I had some layers and dead ends etc. I am not one to exaggerate when I get my hair cut as I realize that it always looks like a lot more was cut than what was actually cut. However, she even did this on dry hair, so I can't imagine how much shorter it would have been if it were cut on wet hair.
I have very thin hair and even other hairdressers warned me they need to be careful around the face frame or else they'll just keep "chasing" it to match and, before ya know it, the hair will be so short. So, I warned the woman of this problem. Yet, even so, 10 min later, my hair was nearly up to my chin. I was in shock, but I didn't freak out. I went somehwere else right afterwards; luckily someone else was available. She fixed it as much as she could, but it feels like there is something missing. My hair is not meant for this style. I already have a tough time growing my hair; I'm lucky I'm not bald at this point, and now she has to do this.
Again- sorry because you both were incredibly nice. I even tried paying, but they so genuinely wanted me to be happy with the results, even saying to come back so she can see in the event she could understand.
It's too late now. Hopefully the new hair helmet and Minoxidol I just started last month will do the trick...

One year ago - If I could give more than 5 stars I would! First of all I was in a time crunch and called in on Sunday to try to be seen on that same day and right away I was greeted very nicely on the phone and welcomed to come in any time. I was running late and called in to let them know and again was greeted with understanding and no problem at all. Upon arriving there was plenty of public parking around so it made it so easy to leave my car safe and sound. As soon as I entered the salon I was greeted with smiles and warm friendly energy. I immediately felt so comfortable and confident everything would go well & it sure did! I went in for a layered hair cut. Every step of the way I was asked about exactly what I wanted and listened to. I was able to show my inspiration pictures and get exactly what I wanted. The entire time the stylist was very careful to cut a little bit at a time and not cut too much. I was and still am beyond happy with my result as it was exactly what I wanted. I gave the stylist a hug and really feel like she was God sent. The price was very affordable as well compared to most other hair salons which I really really appreciate. I am so happy I trusted this salon for a haircut and will for sure be back any time I need this service and any other service! I highly recommend giving...
