My package was supposed to be delivered to Vista. Called the customer support line (800 number) they were very helpful, checked that the address was correct, but for some reason was sent to Hillcrest. Everyone seems baffled as to why. No big deal, but to fix this mess? Hillcrest won't help. In fact they said no secure location to leave package (of course not when you can clearly see the cities are different), and yet they said they left a notice. Where exactly I'd like to know, attached to a light post, or to the nearest street sign with a remote semblance of my street's name, or on the nearest homeless person's shopping cart? Vista USPS (very helpful and nice) calls me daily trying to fix this problem since the package has been sitting on Hillcrest's shelf and they won't do anything about it. No one can get through. I called the Hillcrest location for several days. It does not matter which hour of which day, the phone is ALWAYS busy. I voiced my guess that they just put the phone off the hook, and they said that they had that suspicion as well. No one hears from them, and an hour ago I finally see the tracking has been updated to forwarded. Thanks for that at least. I'll take a gamble that if you ever have to do business with them, unless another USPS substation gets involved, Hillcrest has a too bad for...
Read moreThey keep losing my packages. They've lost several of my packages. The mail man says he doesn't know what happened. The clerks at the post office says they'll look into it, take your number and never call you back. I can't believe my packages keep coming up missing although it always says it's delivered.
This is problematic and needs to be addressed. All other carriers I use never have an issue with my packages. The post office has cost me a lot of money because you can't win a claim unless you have insurance, which is a farce. You can't insure a package when you order online and the shipping being used is called "sure post".
You think its coming via UPS then they switch carriers the last mile to USPS. This is how e-commerce companies save money on shipping, however you're paying a price by risking your package being mis handled.
I want to recommend that you contact customer service of the company you're buying from and request they send it via any other carrier and make sure its not sent "sure post". Pay extra for shipping becasue your package might not show up and your out money and the item you ordered.
I'm so frustrated with this...
Read moreI wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the incredible service I consistently receive at this post office. It's rare to find such a pleasant and efficient team, and it truly makes a difference. Every single employee I have encountered has been genuinely kind and helpful. From the moment I walk in, I'm greeted with a smile and a friendly "hello." The lines move quickly, and the staff is always ready to answer any questions I have with patience and a positive attitude. I especially want to give a huge shout-out to Tess. On my last visit, I had a shipping issue, and Tess went above and beyond to help me. She was so knowledgeable and took the time to walk me through all the options, ensuring that my package would arrive at a cost effective option. Her cheerful demeanor and dedication to customer service are truly remarkable. Thank you, Tess, and thank you to the entire team for your wonderful attitude and hard work. You make what can often be a stressful errand into a genuinely pleasant experience. Keep up...
