When I moved to Hillcrest 3 years ago I wanted to find somewhere to be loyal with that I could easily and consistently get my nails done. I randomly found KnK trying to get a walk-in appointment and they were not only available for me - they also made me feel the most welcome! Tina is truly the best! I started getting acrylic extensions with her, and not only does she always do an amazing job with the shape and design, but she’s also taken such great care of my natural nails underneath. Thanks to her, my nails have grown so fast and stayed healthy, which has never happened for me before with acrylics. The place is under new management and you can definitely tell. The 1st technician was horrible missed steps cut my toenails crooked. She clearly did not know what she's doing and she will be running off business. I asked for another technician And they actually did an OK job but the price has gone way up and it's not worth the work. $90 Out the door for a gel Mani pedi with tip. I've been coming here for 10 years and I'm sad to say I won't return. I gave them a 3 because the 2 girls that took over did their best to make it better for me. Nice interior, friendly staff, clean. But this is probably the worst manicure and pedicure I’ve ever walked away with. My hands and feet look dirty because of the overly thick, smudged paint on my nails and skin and uneven filing. I just wanted a clean manicure and pedicure. The filing is jagged and sharp corners on the edges, cuticles look worse than when I went in. In some places, paint over my cuticles and other places, big gaps of paint.
