I arrived at the nail salon at 3:55 for my 4:00 appointment. I said “Excuse me” when I got there, but was ignored. I waited until 4:05, and there was still no sign of finishing up. So I asked again, and she told me to wait 15 more minutes. No apology. I said, “15 more minutes? It’s already 4:05 and I had a 4:00 appointment.” She just said, “I’m with my client.” And finally she said sorry about that?

If you take an appointment for 4:00, then you should see the customer at 4:00. And if there’s going to be a delay, the least you can do is explain the situation and politely ask them to wait.

Instead, she kept doing her work until I asked — twice — and only then told me to wait even longer.

The message asking me if I wanted to come back to get my nails done again came at 4:38. So if I had kept waiting, I would’ve waited 40 minutes? Even though my appointment was at 4:00?

After I brought this up on Yelp, Apparently, at this place, showing up early and waiting quietly makes it my fault.

I used a Groupon deal for a mani pedi. The pedicure was supposed to come with a 7 minute massage which I did not receive. My favorite part of a pedicure is the salt scrub massage on my legs. She did only my feet, for about a minute each. The manicure was plain. I don’t believe she even applied lotion on my hands. My biggest complaint is that while using the dremal to remove the old color, she went into the nail, leaving them very thin. So thin they bend when I scratch my arm and three have just torn off. 5 stars for Zoe! I found her on groupon and she went above and beyond for me. I got a gel manicure and pedicure and she did such a great job. She is so personable and literally chatted it up with me for the whole 2.5 hours of my service. Her little studio is so cute, clean and comfortable. Her work is top notch.
