Walmart — Local services in San Diego

With my busy lifestyle I prefer to order groceries online and pick them up at the store. Walmart is usually a weekly stop because they offer the best prices on some of our usual staple items. It used to just take about 5 minutes for workers to bring out my order but things have been getting worse and worse picking up groceries at Walmart. First off people are parking in reserved pick up spots and going into the store to shop so you can't even find parking in a reserved pickup spot to wait for your order to come out. I have to circle and stalk people to secure a spot. Secondly it has started taking far too long for groceries to be brought out. The Eastlake Walmart takes the cake at being the worst location in the area for us to pickup groceries and my partner refuses to ever let me order from that location ever again (45 minutes one time and 2 hours another time with my partner talking to multiple people, them marking our order picked up when we didn't get it yet, and going inside to talk to someone to get our order and it was just sitting there for who knows how long since we had ice cream and had checked in almost 2 hours ago before he went inside). The Dennery location took over 30 minutes the last time we went and this College Grove location took almost an hour for me to get my groceries 2 weeks ago and about 30 minutes two additional times. We might have to stop shopping at Walmart if they continue to fumble their pickup services because they continue to waste our valuable and scarce time. I will do a pickup order at the Sam's club around the corner which usually takes about 5 minutes for them to bring out my order and pickup at the College Walmart since it's in the same shopping center, but it's been such a hassle lately because of their lack of reserved parking and the excessive wait for workers to bring orders out. I like the value Walmart provides and the convenience of picking up orders should be a no brainer, but if they continue wasting my time I'll have to look into just ordering groceries from Amazon or something to avoid the frustration related to picking up orders lately and just have groceries...

I used to shop here when I was short on cash, but now I won't even do that. I'll pay an extra 100 dollars JUST to not go there again. I'm a young 18 year old blond white female who's the part time mom for my 5 siblings ( since we don't have a mother ), and a dad who works hard all day, I've never committed a crime in my life, I don't smoke or drink, I smile and laugh so much so that everyone knows me as 'that sweet girl'. On my last visit, an employee tells me to 'please no throw stuff on the floor in make up aisle, over there, someone said they saw you' I informed her I wasn't in the make up aisle at any point during my visit, nor my siblings who were at my side at all time. She said okay and left.

I was shopping calmly, placing my goods in the cart, adding up as I kept an eye on my siblings when a male employee approached me. What came next shocked me. He BLATANTLY was harassing me, telling me they have 'video evidence' of me and my siblings in EVERY aisle throwing stuff, knocking things over, screaming, running around crazily. When I replied 'sorry, but we were never in that make up aisle and my siblings haven't done more than skip or jog 5 feet to look at a merchandise.' He then told me he'll call the cops on me, just for inquiring about the accusation. I tried to defend my case, but he shrugged and said 'fine have it your way' I was CONFUSED and LOST. I followed him and asked if I could see this video, he denied me with a smirk and a turn of his head, as if I was an idiot. He even went as far as to HOLD onto my siblings shoulder coming back from the bathroom with the youngest and claim to her to 'calm down, we're watching you'..

WHATEVER you do, if you can, avoid this place. It is a predominately mexican Walmart, and I'll go as far as to say it was racism. Unfriendly employees, harassment I will be calling in on, all for poor quality merchandise and groceries you save a tiny bit on. But those savings aren't worth the treatment.

You've lost my money, Walmart, hope you don't miss the 1,000 dollars I spend a month on food over false...

Place is close to highways and border. It is a super center. Planty of parking and many other shops in same plaza. The prices were place on wrong items. Many items were missed priced. As a shopper, you will look at the price and pickup the item. As you shop through many other items. Full of cart. It is hard to remember what was posted and what price the cashier scanned for are two different prices. Most people will think the scanner price is same what they saw. Management seems very relaxed in store. Most of them are assistant managers who are young and dont know how to deal with customer issues. Forget about checking their employees mistagging price and items. It is a mess in this store. If you go by the barcode. And match to the item barcode. Most likely you will never find the item with same barcode as listed under the price. Expect to pay more at cash register. It is a very deceiving point of sale by walmart to confuse customers. While stealing consumer money at cash register. Managers are pretty much unhelpful. Dont have knowledge of their own departments and products they sell. Waiting for manager to speak with. Good luck. They take long long time to meet you. You might as well dont ask for manager because your time will be wasted. It happens most of the time. But there were very few incidents. Manager happened to be close by. Rare chance of this happening is very slim. Workers attitude is whatever to the company. Some are very nice people too. Who showed interest and helped you to find items. Others nust point you to some marker. You say where is that?. They see it. Customers dont because of too many signs inside the store. Some even told me. Go into that direction. Then ask another associate to help you find items. Their electronic deptarment definately needs overhaul of customer service. Many times the wait is feels so long. I started to grow my beard and then my black hair turning grey...
