DANGEROUS!!! I love this theater, so much I have been going here over 15 years, so it saddens me to give them one star review. Last night I went to see deadpool 2 at 8 pm, get out 2 hrs later and we get to the car (not too far from the theater and our car was side swiped, broken tail light the handles broken as if someone was trying to break in the door and the windows had fingerprints as if trying to pull them down. I was so upset cause this is the second time this has happened to cars in this lot under my watch. Last summer my friends car had a window broken open and they stole my backpack. This time it was completely unacceptable because not only was the car damaged the one next to it as well tired streeks on the floor for a quick getaway because it looks like they were able to get away with someones car, glass everywhere. I just don't feel this parking lot is safe. They supposedly have security that I.never see and it isn't well lit but they should put cameras cause if you can't spend two hours watching a movie just to come out and find your car stolen or attempted stolen, or even battered or broken from another car then imagine if you are walking your kids and you walk in on that and you are harmed or attacked for your car. Again the theater is great, discount prices, etc but the safety is an issue and with all the shootings and crazy people lately I just don't feel safe going if my car will be stolen or worse I would be attacked when I get out of the theater cause I walk in on attempted robbery. AMC IT'S YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, YOUR PARKING LOT, YOUR PLACE OF ENTERTAINMENT YOU HAVE A DUTY TO HAVE A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR THE PEOPLE IN AND AROUND YOUR PROPERTY. I DON'T FEEL SAFE AND FOR THAT REASON I WON'T BE GOING BACK. It's sad that a bad parking lot and a few hundred bucks later to fix my broken tail light had to teach me that. It's...
Read moreBE WARE! FYI, I went to watch Top Gun. Great movie. BUT, I paid for the movie and treats (not cheap). Half way through the movie a couple who brought a baby and a toddler started to cry. The parents took a while to do something about it. You think they left so the rest of us could watch the movie. NO, less than a minute went by when the father came back and allowed the toddler to go up and down the theater steps. And as he tried to calm down the baby walked around the theater in front of the movie screen. So I went to speak to a manager about what their policy is for these situations. Well, it is the other people in the theater responsibility to go upfront and tell the theater personal when something disruptive is going on. After you let them know, they will give the parents a warning. If it still goes on, it is still the other people in the theater responsibility to get up again. After you get up a second time, they will give the parents a second warning or ask them to leave. Meanwhile your movie experience has been ruined and you have missed some of the movie. Did you know they allow children over six in a rated R movie after 6pm??? What parent does that??? They gave me a coupons to come see another movie later on. What is that good for? What they need to do is change their policies. Next time, I will wait for the movie to come out, save all that money, and not worry about my movie experience being ruined. Remember it is your responsibility to have a good movie experience, not...
Read moreDESCRIMINATES SPECIAL NEEDS AND FALSE ADVERTISEMENT the Autism society has a program that is called sensory friendly films, where people with special needs can watch the movie with the volume not all the way up and the lights dimmed. Palm Promenade advertised they are participants and when we get there no one knows anything and they want my severe autism child to just go on a regular audience film, this is not the first time this happens, the last time we where told it was sensory friendly and it wasnât, needless to say we had a very hard day since my daughter has very sensitive ears and couldnât handle the sound, today she was ready to watch Aladdin and we wanted to make sure it was sensory friendly, no one even knew what it was and I showed them the advertisement, their manager Cassandra told me they couldnât just put a movie for her, but I wasnât asking for that I was only asking for what was advertised then she said sometimes they have different schedules so I asked when was the sensory friendly showing and of course they didnât have anything scheduled. It is very frustrating when your child really wants to watch a movie and they only have one day at one time to watch it and you get there and it turns out they canât watch it, of course right after we had a big melt down from an autistic 14 year old, It is very unsensitive from AMC palm promenade to do that to an...
