I took my daughter and nieces to this which was our favorite. The supervisor and lead there were rude and indeferent. They went on to say that under age kids need to be accompanied by an adult which it did say on their policy and I am an adult and my niece is 18 years of age. I saw two young kids ages 10 or 12 buy tickets and go in without an adult. Then 2 other girls looked under age went in and when asked why they were not carded was told that they have the right to card or not if they want. We left and went elsewhere to watch the movie. It was the worst experience ever. Felt discriminated and so my nieces said so in order to go in and watch a movie we need to put on makeup and dress sexy in order to come in this amc which that is what the male supervisor and male employees like. Serving the most southernly “towns” of Southbay area and other neighboring cities, so glad it’s still around. Compared to other AMCs in San Diego, Palm Promenade wins on discounted ticket prices before 4pm and flat rate prices on Tuesdays (may vary on movie and time of showing).

The one thing i will say about this theater, on Fridays or weekends it tends to be a magnet for kids and adult teens.
