I love this market. For starters, it's family owned/ran & the owners are very welcoming and personable. It's a true neighborhood gem. I see a lot of elderly seniors shopping in there & I love to see that. They only put out good produce and at very reasonable prices. Their produce is of better quality than the produce at Safeway & a lot of what they put out at Whole Foods. Their prices are also better. They always have perfect avocados! I also love their selections of European chocolates, candy, juices & snacks. They have a large wine, beer & liquor selection, to boot! They also carry the inexpensive, bagged spices & herbs of which have saved me in cooking crunches. All in all, they get a 💯% thumbs up from me. I could go on & on with compliments...
Read moreConvenient but they struggle with math at times. This market is super convenient if you need to grab milk or beer or something. Prices aren't exactly cheap but you pay for the convenience. They're friendly enough but two of the older guys working here regularly seem to ring up prices incorrectly or give the wrong change when paying cash.
I'd like to think it's just an accident, and if you point out the mistake they'll correct it. But how hard is it to punch in prices correctly and give the right change? (Answer: not that hard. I did it for years).
