I recently visited Dolorainbow Bridge and would rate it 3.5 stars. While the bridge itself is an impressive structure and offers stunning views, it’s evident that it hasn’t been maintained as well as it should be.

The scenery around the bridge is beautiful, and it’s a great spot for photography and enjoying the outdoors. However, some parts of the bridge and surrounding areas show signs of wear and neglect, which detracts from the overall experience.

Despite these maintenance issues, Dolorainbow Bridge still provides a pleasant outing, especially for those who appreciate architecture and nature. With a bit more care and attention to upkeep, this could easily become a top-notch destination.

I've lived in the Castro for 33 years take my dog to the park nearly every day. But I have never heard anyone call the bridge Dolorainbow. I think the rainbow "showed up" painted during the Pandemic. Some renegades thought it would be cool and did it at night. And the concept is great! Too bad they did a really unprofessional and sloppy paint job. Understandably the City of SF would have had to have 50 neighborhood outreach meetings and the rainbow would have taken 6 years for approval. Love the idea but not worth a...
