Macy's Backstage — Local services in San Francisco

The customer service here is tragic! Hey they're open until 8 p.m. I asked to try something on at 6:52 p.m. I was told that the change rooms close at 7 so no I can try something on which is ridiculous it would have taken me less than five minutes to have tried on the dress that I had. So I gave up shopping for clothes and proceeded to get housewares together at 8 when the closing announcement came on the lady ran up to me and told me that they were closed and I had to put my merchandise back. I asked her if I could go to another register she said no I had to leave my merchandise upstairs and was incredibly rude about it the whole time. It blows my mind that after a year-and-a-half pandemic businesses can get away with customer service like this they should be grateful for every customer they have. It left such a bad taste in my mouth that I won't be shopping at Macy's for quite a while and usually a shop here twice a week at least. I know for a fact that the customer service at Nordstrom's and at Bloomingdales is considerably better, considering how he's treated I would rather pay the price is at Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's and get good...

Very rude customer service. We asked if they could open the fitting room because it was only 5pm and they close at 7pm and the cashier that closes on Sunday evenings told us that we should “just change in front of everyone else because the fitting room is closed”. She said it in a very rude manner and was immediately dismissive of our question. If the fitting rooms are closed and they are unable to open them that’s fine. I had a bad experience at Macys. I bought a gift card from them and during the opening the PIN was corrupted. I called them for two weeks to resolve this issue and they told me that I had to wait.
