Melissa Gugni Organizing — Local services in San Francisco

I've worked with Melissa multiple times in different locations, so this review is long overdue. My most recent experience working with Melissa was with her helping me organize my kitchen and pantry space, and helping with some organizing solutions for a bathroom. She came in with very little prior information (even though she had asked me to send her anything I would find helpful), and in just a matter of a few hours, she transformed my kitchen and pantry into an entirely different space and I had exactly what I wanted with different areas. Melissa works incredibly fast, and her experience shows. She's immediately able to look at a space and offer multiple options, and is very perceptive about what is likely to work versus what isn't. She's also very aware and mindful of working with how you want her to engage - e.g., I was pleased with her pace, but she mentioned that if I was uncomfortable, she could go slower. She also checks in through the entire project and evaluates and tunes as she goes. She gave me a list of recommendations of things to round out the organizing and was in touch over email and phone to check in with questions after the session. I hope I don't have to move again but I will be hoping to get on Melissa's schedule for any more organizing needs as...

Melissa saved our kitchen when we moved into our new home! She is so fantastic to work with- she's pragmatic, super efficient and knows how to organize things to make life so much easier. We were so excited to finally have pantry space that we filled it right up- and immediately could find nothing. Melissa came over one day for a review of our kitchen space and started the project. She returned with bins and organizers for our pantry, cupboards and spice drawers and got to work. By the end of the day, everything was beautifully organized into sections based on how frequently we used items (baking? rare! pasta? always!) including getting our appliances out of the way but accessible and our spices easy to find.

We are now a family that has bins- I never had the energy to figure out how to do it, myself. Kids snacks are in small bins and accessible for little bodies. Our chocolate is high and out of sight. Melissa is always professional and so quick-- it's fun and a pleasure working with her. I'd definitely recommend Melissa to anyone- either or a quick refresh or a complete overhaul...

Melissa was the answer to a prayer I didn’t know how badly I needed to have answered. I live in a small apartment with my two sons and husband. We aim to keep our stuff in check, but odds and ends have a way of still lingering around. Melissa helped me get serious about decluttering. And THEN, she made homes for the things that mattered most by putting them in the places where they most belonged. When I say she did all the work that I never had the energy to do, I mean it.
