I booked a tour to Muir Woods (San Francisco) with Mustsee.world, and it resulted in a ruined day filled with stress.
The instructions stated to meet at 8:30 AM outside Cafe Encore (488 Post St). We arrived at 8:25 AM and joined a line of people who appeared to be waiting for a tour as well. Across the street, we noticed a black van, which left at 8:34 AM. We realized too late that this was our vehicle, as it had no logos or signs indicating it belonged to Mustsee.world, and no one from the company checked the line for passengers.
In a panic, I enabled roaming on my phone to call their office. After initially reaching voicemail, I eventually spoke to someone who informed me nothing could be done and abruptly hung up. On my third call, I was told: It was my fault for not having a phone number that supports calls (only had sim card with data). They could not accommodate us in any other time slot available for us. No refund would be issued as the tour is non-refundable.
This experience highlights several organizational failures:
Instructions that do not match the actual meeting procedure. Vehicles without any identifying marks. No effort from the staff to check for passengers - neither a driver nor a guide bothered to step out of the vehicle even for a second to check the line. The vehicle left after only a 4-minute wait. Unapologetic and negligent customer service.
I would not recommend Mustsee.world due to their overall disorganization and negligence.
UPD. to comment on the owner's reply: Not a single soul came out of the car during these 10 minutes, not even before leaving! You're trying to blame it all on "timing issues", however we were on time, and I have Uber receipt as an evidence. It's your organizational issues,...

I cannot recommend THE MUST SEE TOUR enoughâthis Muir Woods and Sausalito experience was the highlight of my short trip to San Francisco!
I only had two days in the city and specifically booked the 1:00 PM tour through TripAdvisor, emphasizing that I couldnât go the next day due to prior commitments. The agent confirmed two available seats, so I was shocked when my name wasnât on the list upon arrival. Thankfully, the driver was incredibly helpful and contacted the office immediately.
Thatâs when Faycal, a true hero, stepped in. Despite the initial mix-up (my reservation was mistakenly booked for the next day), he went above and beyond to fix it. After a frustrating call with TripAdvisor (who initially refused a refund), Faycal called me back, reassured me, and got me on the 1:45 PM tourâguiding me to the meeting point with only minutes to spare! His kindness and professionalism were unmatched. His message, âPlease donât stress, just enjoy your dayâIâll handle the refundâ, made all the difference.
The tour itself was absolutely fantastic! Our driver, Buddy, was hilarious, knowledgeable, and full of fascinating stories about Muir Woods, Sausalito, and San Franciscoâs history. He made sure everyone had a great time and even accommodated drop-offs near our hotels at the end.
Despite the initial hiccup, THE MUST SEE TOUR turned what could have been a stressful situation into an unforgettable experience, all thanks to Faycalâs exceptional care and Buddyâs amazing guiding. If youâre visiting San Francisco, this is the tour you MUST joinâoutstanding service, breathtaking sights, and a team that truly cares about...
Read moreTour guide Tanya was great. She is friendly and throws some jokes to keep the group alive and cheerful. The tour itself is good but I prefer more time in each place, just like in Muir Woods you can stay only for 1.5 hrs. which is just enough time to walk till you reach the 4th bridge and back. There are more trails to wander around but not much time as you have to leave at least 30 mins for souvenir shopping. Same as in the Panoramic view point of San Francisco, I would appreciate more if the tour bus would stop and let the people take photos of the view at least. Same thing at the Fine Art Museum, they only stop for 5 minutes to take photos but do not let you look around the vicinity. Lastly in Alcatraz Island, if you refuse to take the Audio recording, you can take your 10 dollars back from the ticket purchase. It is mandatory that you have to show your receipts though upon exiting the building. What happens when you are on the tour is they hand the ticket to one person ( All your name was on the list on a sheet of paper). In this case, when you arrive on the Island, you depart with the group, and can't keep an eye on the person who had the list of the names( official receipts). for this reason, you can't take your 10 dollars back. All in all, the...
