We came here after seeing the reviews and because we wanted crepes. There was a line that extended to outside the door. We decided to stick it out. It took about 15-20 mins to get to the counter and order. They have a giant menu on the wall, so you can definitely spend the time in line to figure out what you want. There is one server whose sole job was to find you a table, which is nice. So, by the time we got to the counter, we knew what we wanted, had a table number and an assigned table. For smaller parties, they do a super job of finding tables and getting you seated. For larger parties, you might have to wait a little to get the physical table. Also, make sure your entire party has arrived. They will seat you but if the rest of your party does not show up, you will surrender some of those seats to other parties who are waiting. We saw this happen to the group just ahead of us.
Once seated, it took another 10-ish minutes for the food to come. We ordered orange juice and two savory crepes - pesto and torino. The orange juice was freshly squeezed (you can see the machine) so it wasn't very sweet and had some pulp, which we liked.
Food wise, the crepes were pretty good. The pesto was the winner. It had delicious pesto sauce, spinach, avocado and some feta cheese. It was quite heavy. The torino was ok and I don't recommend if you aren't a fan of mushrooms, because it was tomatoes, feta cheese and an excessive amount of mushrooms. I am obsessed with mushrooms, so I was glad to have it, but my husband, not so much. The crepe was a little try because it needed some sort of a sauce to keep it together like the pesto one. We definitely recommend the pesto! We got a side of potatoes and a side of fruit. Some of the potatoes were over done to the extent of being burnt and they needed some seasoning.
I think the food was worth the price and I liked this place enough that we will...
Read moreServers and cashier seemed preoccupied and distracted with their own conversation to acknowledge that they had new diners waiting at the register. Our server walked off twice in the middle of us speaking to him, once when we were ordering and then again when he asked about silverware. My cousin and I chose this place for her late birthday celebration breakfast and were really excited to try this place because they have great reviews. She ordered waffles with a side of bacon, and I orders French toast with a side of potatoes. Our food was lukewarm to cold when it arrived and taste was just average. Canned whipped cream was definitely used instead of fresh because it had an oily aftertaste and felt dense and heavy. My potatoes were crunchy with some dark bits but cold, suggesting that they were most likely precooked ahead of time and had just been sitting on the flat top. Basically leftover potatoes and not made to order. The batter on the french toast just tasted like eggs and milk with no hint of sugar cream or vanilla like most French toasts I've had in several other restaurants before. The waffle my cousin had was pretty dense, not airy or crispy at all and covered in canned whipped cream and fruit. They gave us a 2 oz Ramekin syrup that was filled about a quarter of the way up. Not even half full. Most likely won't be coming back. No one came to check on the table or ask how the food was. I ended up just eating most of the potatoes and left the French toast alone. I should note that the restaurant wasn't even half full so I'm not sure why the food quality and service...
Read moreI feel pretty fortunate to visit places that turn out to be a 4 or 5. However, this was definitely a 3 star experience. Overall, the food was alright, but not the best.
I wouldn’t NOT get the breakfast crepe again. The crepe was more like a tortilla. It was a bit tough to cut into which should not be the case. Definitely was more like a thin flour tortilla. The ham and veggies in the breakfast crepe were hot but had no change in flavor or texture like you’d get if something was properly cooked for flavor.
The 2, 2 and 2: eggs, a meat and two pancakes was also just alright. The pancakes were good but one of the pancakes was comically small. Felt like a rip off.
Barely worth the 10 minute line and then 20 minute wait.
It was busy when I arrived. It’s a order then seat establishment. I didn’t mind waiting in line for 10 minutes to place my to-go order since I could have easily ordered online. The staff was nice but I was shoulder checked by an employee as he rushed by. No big deal for me, but if I was elderly or had trouble standing I would have been knocked over.
Overall, slightly better than a Denny’s and more expensive. More casual, less class and cheaper than the brunch places around here like Mymy and Lapisara Eatery.
When I came home, plated the food and then brought it to my girlfriend in bed she asked me if I went to a Denny’s… 🥲
Has a large open interior with outdoor seating.
Eating in would probably lead to a...
