I came here this morning, because I'd rather support small businesses than starbucks. I was the third in line. I waited 20 minutes, until i was able to order (still fine, the lady was alone). I ordered a 12oz Cappuccino (~350ml - for the rest of the world) and an Eggsy Croissant.
Then I waited another 5 minutes until it was ready. I'm from Europe and not familiar with OZ, but I thought, oh ok that's a small cup and why is it so light. So I looked at the bottom of the cup, which said 8oz (250ml) and then I looked inside - just half full (120ml)!!! No milkfoam at all (see photo).
When I went back in to complain, the lady told me, a cappuccino is with just a little bit of milk and the size of the cup doesn't matter. I said, how is it possible to order 12oz and receive a half full 8oz cup?!?! As the café was full, I didn't want the other costumers to wait, just because I was scammed. But I would definitly NOT recommend this place! Even though the croissant was good. 4oz of "cappuccino", when you...
Read moreTLDR: small portion with almost no meat, order wasn’t received so they had to make my order when I arrived to pickup 15 minutes after the last pickup time
I ordered through an app (because I had remaining credits) for pickup and arrived at this address (the app has a different name than this cafe) so I walked by it the first time. I showed the lady my order but she said they never received it so she had to make it then and there and told me to wait. After about 10-15 minutes (which makes it now 30 minutes past my pick up window) I got my iced coffee with cream and sausage breakfast burrito.
After returning to the office, I unwrapped the burrito and it was relatively small. I started eating the burger and all I tasted was eggs and potatoes inside. Not only until my last two bites at the bottom of my burrito did I taste any sausage (and there was very little of it).
All in all, not the best pickup experience but also no meat in a rather bland and small breakfast burrito means I...
Read moreMy dentist's office is right next to this cute, bustling shop, and every time I walk by, the smell of freshly brewed coffee fills the air—it's incredibly inviting. Unfortunately, my first visit didn’t live up to the atmosphere I had imagined.
As I walked in, the staff gave me a cold, blank stare—no greeting, no smile—which made things feel a bit awkward right from the start. I placed my order, but there was still no verbal interaction, just nods and blank expressions. When my drink was ready, it was simply slid across the counter to me, again with no words, not even a simple “here you go” or “enjoy.”
The coffee itself was underwhelming. I ordered a caramel latte expecting something sweet, but it was surprisingly bitter and I couldn’t really taste any caramel at all.
Maybe it was just an off day—I get that it happens. I’m planning to come back another time and give it another shot, hoping for a...
