First time trying this salon and the pedicure experience was painful! Kelly who did the pedicure for me cut toenails on my left foot so short, especially the big toe, I screamed 4-5 times when she cut it and did the cuticle and filing. You can tell from the picture, left foot and right foot are not even. I wasn’t bleeding (thank goodness), but man it was painful! Now that I’m home when I wear socks, my left foot hurts because the skin of the big toe rubs with my sock. Cutting the toenails should be the most basic skill, how can she mess that up? The owner said Kelly usually is very good. I don’t believe that at all. Again, basic skill. I would never want Kelly to do my nails again. Thank god it’s Tina who did manicure for me, who was very good. When I made reservation online, I don’t have a chance to choose which staff. I don’t think I will take the risk coming here again not knowing who I will get. I paid $145 for delux gel pedi and gel mani, which is very expensive but the quality and experience don’t match the price tag. They are also short of staffs on Sunday. Normally when I go to my go-to salons, 2 people do mani and pedi in the same time, so I can get it done sooner. But today, I had to wait till the pedi is done then did the mani, I spent total 2.5 hours waiting and for the whole process. I wouldn’t recommend this...
Read moreI can say this is by far the worst experience I've ever had getting my nails done. I got dip nails which for some reason involved a ton of filing. The technician was so rough that she SLICED MY PINKY with the edge of the nail file and made me bleed. She apologized and wiped off the blood, but somehow forgot about the injury because a few minutes later she REOPENED the cut in the same spot again by slicing me with the nail file (she quickly realized what happened and apologized again when I reacted). At the end, when she rubbed alcohol all over my fingers which stung everywhere I realized that she had given me MULTIPLE abrasions all over my fingers with the nail file. My knuckles closest to my nail look like I dragged sandpaper over them and my pinky is just missing layers of skin, aside from having a deep cut.
I know these were new cuts because at the beginning of the manicure they were soaking my nails in acetone which didn't hurt at all, and stung so badly at the end when more chemicals were applied.
I have been here multiple times before and never had any issues. But after my appointment today, I can't recommend anyone go here when there are so many other nail salons on the same block. I hope they do better for customers in the future but I'm never...
Read moreI can always trust that my nails will look great and last when I go here. I can also firmly say that I know I will be dedicating at least 2 hours of my time to get my nails done here, with or without an appointment. Every time I have gone here they always say they can take me even if they may be fully booked and busy at the moment. I have at least 3 different people working on me when I go and because they accept so many people it takes them so long to get someone’s nails done. The last time I went was the worst it’s been. I arrived at a reasonable time and had someone help me right away. I was really excited to get in and out, finally! But then 3 women walk in wanting a mani/pedi. They had me get up from my chair and moved me into the corner chair and did not come back to help me for 45 mins. My fingers started to burn from getting soaked in the rubbing alcohol. These women didn’t have an appointment but got priority over me, even though I was there first. And I’ve tried to make an appointment before, they don’t honor it. I like the way they do the nails but I don’t like spending 2+ hours there for a...
