Del Río Produce Market — Local services in San Francisco

Ive shopped here intermittently over the years and have always seen Latinos working behind the counter and around the store.When I stopped by today no Latinos but 2 asian dudes. I asked if there was a change of management and they said yes. I asked where the pasta de guayaba was (which they've always carried) and they had no idea what I was talking about. None to be found. Considering this was the only Latino market in all of the Richmond it's very disappointing to see it's changed hands after all...

Such an absolute one of a kind gem of a fresh produce market, it is family owned and operated and are amazing hard working people who always take care of their customers. everything is organized, fresh & have best prices in town! carrie’s mostly every grocery item you can ever need! & don’t even get me started about their tamales, absolutely amazing! highly recommend everyone in the richmond district checks them out! if i could give a 10/10 star rating i would! I'm so glad this place is in my neighborhood. They carry a great selection of fruits and veggies at reasonable prices. They carry some other grocery items such as nuts, bread, dried fruits, spices and staple can items but the selection is limited. Being Chicana I am also grateful for their selection of pan dulce, fresh cotija cheese, and fresh pico de gallo. The staff is super friendly too. This is my go-to-place when I need to restock...
