I have heard a lot of negative stories about unfairness of the judicial system in California but still had some hope until I experienced it in my own case. It was over 4 years of nightmare! I came to America with the good wish of building a family with a man who lives in California. But without knowing to fall to labor trafficking trap, I was forced to work without paying for 9 years and suffered from mental and financial abuse. I filed for divorce eventually hoping to get help and rights I deserve. Unexpectedly, I escaped from domestic abuse and was subjected to judicial abuse. The judges Cindee Mayfield and Patrick Pekin are very corrupt judges in Mendocino Superior court. Cindee Mayfield has close relationship with the opposing attorney. They ignored the actual important evidences and refused me constitutional rights to present evidences in Trial. They abused their power to protect those they favor by race and undermining those they oppose. They arbitrarily judged the case. They retaliated me hard by ruling against me and my child 100% took away ALL our legal rights and favor my abusive ex everything he wants after I filed the disqualification against Judge Cindee Mayfield. We were kicked out the house and were homeless for years.. Before I filed the appeal my ex had told me with confidence " you will regret to appeal, you will never win! ". It seems like he got a promise . I filed the appeal to the Court of Appeal in SF with the hope of good justices. Surprisely, they affirmed the judgement. I do not believe these judges reviewed all the records and evidence. The opinion is full of untrue stories adopted from the opposing party's words. Truth and facts are buried. Then later I found out the Judge Cindee Mayfield started to work in the court of appeal in SF the same time my case was reviewed! Now I understand what my ex told me.. Unbelievable this is so called "justice system", this Judicial bully and racist work in the Appeal Court, there will be and already a lot victims like me. With the last hope I filed the Petition of Review to the Supreme Court of California. But The Supreme Court denied the chance to be heard. As an immigrant mother, it is sad to know there is nowhere to find justice here. Feeling is chilling and hopeless. The truth and justice will be buried forever. I attempted to file a Verified Accusation with the California Supreme Court, against multiple attorney's working in Contra Costa County, due to county corruption. Clerk of Court Simone Voltz called me at my home and stated that she had taken it upon herself to investigate matters of the Verified Accusation. Voltz came to the conclusion that I didn't have a right to file the Accusation and wanted to know why I thought I did. Because it is not a clerks job to act as a judge or an investigator, I instructed Voltz to file the document anyways. Voltz stated that she would.
