My family and I have stayed here twice. Our first experience was great; good price, clean room, quick parking and we were able to Uber to ask the places we needed. That was at the very beginning of December 2023. The end of December 2023 was a bit different.
When my sister checked in, she explained the other person in the room would be up later, I was a bit delayed getting in from Bart and I also had another friend with me. She wasn't staying but would be going out with us later so I told her to come along as well. It was about 8 pm and we were going to be in the room for maybe an hour before leaving. When we arrived, we went straight to the elevator door which requires a key card to enter so we text my sister to come down and get us. The front desk lady barked at us about going up to which I informed her, we were going up to our room and my sister had already checked in and our room number. When we got upstairs, the front desk woman called accusing us of trying to sneak a 3rd person into the room of which we would need to pay more. My sister explained that only I would be staying the night, hence only me having a suitcase, and the friend was there only to shorten time. It's NYE so I would imagine they'd understand a few people are going to have some friends or hookups appear for a bit but if we have already paid for two people, why would you immediately jump to conclusions that we weren't going to pay for another if needed. Around 5am New Year's Day, I called the front desk requesting a late check out. We knew it was a long shot but I had been up all night and we knew the extra hour would be extremely helpful. She told us yes, we could have a late check out. I double checked because she used some lawyer language to say it and I was coming down from my celebratory night. She confirmed we did have a late check out which meant we wouldn't need to be out until 12pm. I wish I got the name of the lady I spoke to, but my sister and I are positive it was the same woman who checked her in and yelled at my friend and I. Relieved, we went to sleep set a few alarms and didn't worry about anything. At 11:15 am we get a call saying we are late for check out. My sister, very much asleep said okay we'll rush out to which I reminded her we had received a late check out. She called back asking what happened to our late check out that was confirmed by the same woman a few hours ago and she said that it's the holidays, so they need everyone out at 11 and if we couldn't get out right now, we would need to pay a fine. We already had a bit of a feeling this might happen so we were semi packed and said we would be out soon.
With this interaction and a friend of mine informing she got a fine for dirtying the towels with her dark skin make up (racist AF), we'll definitely not be staying at this location any longer. The price is good and the location is perfect for the spots my friends and I hit up but I would rather not deal with this one woman ever again. Oh and don't stay here if you're not okay with city sounds and people without housing right outside. You're in the wrong area!!! They have extremely limited parking so if you're planning to bring a car and don't want to be bipped you also don't want to stay here! Go to the Hyatt Regency...

I have stayed at at least five different Best Westerns all in different cities and always had no problem with booking with my grandmother's account online and paying with my own card in person(or whatever and whoever's card actually). Never had an issue. It must be within Best Western policy that it is okay to do this otherwise I wouldn't have been able to do it without a problem at all(not even a question of weirdness)that many times. But I get there 6pm Sunday and I'm denied because my ID doesn't match the online account that I used. The people that manage this hotel have an extreme inability to understand the rules or try to help or at least pretend to care. This man was so unfeeling toward me and the situation when the real issue was his inability to understand the rules. And then apparently Best Western doesn't have in-person customer service. When you call customer service for Best Western it is a recording telling you to leave a message. So there is no immediate assistance available through Best Western. Wow. How is that possible with such a big company. I was denied opportunity to speak to the manager even though I asked, I was told no. And it is in the most disgusting location. I usually am not picky but it is the dirtiest of dirty. Piss and s* stench scary people screaming outside the liquor store that is literally on top of the hotel. I would have stayed anyway if he would have let me we just needed somewhere right then and I planned this weekend in advance. I wasn't able to stay here. They didn't allow me to. We had to go figure out something else and $325 was tied up with Best Western the whole trip, that they wouldn't give back. I was never contacted by customer service after leaving a message at their customer service number. They just refunded what they felt like and and ended up stealing over $160. Denied letting me and my family of 4 stay here(when my child had just vomited all over my car we desperately needed somewhere to clean up and ended up spending the whole weekend with the car smelling like vomit because we didn't get settled in another hotel until 8pm and was forced to valet the car based on the hotel we chose so it was too hard to get to the car seat and remove it and the car seat liner to clean it, and late for the children who were hungry to have time to clean everything and be able to get to the car easily since it was valeted), front desk denied me being able to speak to manager, wasn't able to redo the reservation, was uncaring and robbed us. Unless all of our money is refunded and an apology is issued on top of that employee being told how the rules work, I will never stay at a best Western again for this man's lack of caring...
Read moreExcellent hotel. We got to town after midnight. All hotels that have 24-hour check-in did not have a person and did not answer calls. We got to this hotel and were able to check in without any problems. We stayed in a first floor room with one King bed. Clean room. The windows are shutters. The bed has a comfortable mattress, a mattress topper with a zipper and more layers. The entire bed is white and clean. The room has a refrigerator, coffee maker, TV, air conditioning with heater. Folding sofa. The bathroom is clean and has washing facilities. You get breakfast as a bonus. Scrambled eggs, bacon and fried sausages. Capcake, bun, juice, yogurt. I slept perfectly. I don't think I slept as well at home as here. Complete darkness and silence. I slept two alarm clocks, it was too good for me. We had no problems with parking, on the first night we left the car in the lower garage, as there was no room at the top, and on the second day in the upper parking lot. There aren't many places, but it's better than looking around. The hotel looks like it was just after renovation. There is a slight smell in the room, like construction materials or chemicals, but not very strong. The hotel staff are great. answer the phone right there. Always at the workplace. I highly recommend the hotel.

Мы добрались в этот отель и без проблем смогли зарегистрироваться. Мы остановились в комнате на первом этаже с одной кроватью Кинг. Чистая комната. Окна закрывают ставни. Кровать имеет удобный матрас, наматрасник на змейке и ещё слои. Вся постель белая и чистая. В комнате есть холодильник, кофеварка, телевизор кондиционер с обогревателем. Раскладной диван. Ванная комната чистая и имеет принадлежности для мытья. Бонусом вы получаете завтрак. Яишница, бекон и жареные сосиски. Кап кейк, булочка, сок, йогурт. Я спал прекрасно. Мне кажется я дома так хорошо не спал, как тут. Полная темнота и тишина. Я проспал два будильника, это было слишком хорошо для меня. Мы не имели проблем с парковкой, в первую ночь оставили авто в нижнем гараже, так как на верху не было места, а на второй день на верхнем паркинге. Мест не много, но это лучше, чем искать в окрестностях. Отель выглядит как буд то только после ремонта.
