I would rather not give a star. This place is very unprofessional and scam artist. Boyfriend rented a truck with an agreement of $21 dollars a day after the second day and stated no re- occuring payments. At there own discreation without permission they took 4 transactions totaling 1100.00 dollars then manager that agreed and made deal for $22 dollars a day decided to harass and make threats to report truck stolen about ten days after now keep in mind customer went to enterprise website daily to re book and extend reservation keeping entrprise updated. When customer called 800 customer service line they stated owner of san gabriel reported vehical to police a week after one week of rented days prior to the phone threat from owner. So customer service rep was shock and made a formal complaint to the office which in turn to return the car to location and recalculate charges but vehicale had to be left at a location because it was reported as a stolen vehical and the owner of san gabriel encouraged to drive it back even while it was repirted stolen no safety or legal meaures considered. I myself intervened with a few calls to owner to discuss this ridiculous escaped business being ran at the while they were paid and getting a man caught up in a unlawful accusation of a criminal charge the san gabriel PD and and other PD department did not take the time to to see both sides due to calls being made and recorded and or help the matter get resolved safely instead they took this companies word immediately and waisted tax payors money looking for something that the owner had been aware of the whole time. Its makes me sick that all these men did not have much or better communication skills for a better experience for a valid customer and human beign. They should not have a business its seems only money is the priority here not CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SATIFACTION NEEDS. with all due respect fine this company shut down till better...
Read moreUnfortunately, the previous comments about the branch manager's lack of professionalism and ethics are accurate. I reserved an economy class car only to be told they don't really carry those. The manager then offered me a pick-up truck which I told him I never drive pick-ups but he made it sound like there was no other option. Then he produces a contract for me to sign and slips in that he automatically signed me up for the basic insurance package costing over hundred dollars. When I asked why he automatically gave me the insurance package he said it was because I was getting a pick-up, the one I never asked for in the first place! When I protested he suddenly offered me a four-door vehicle, the ones that they supposedly they didn't have available. I no longer felt I could trust the manager so I walked away despite having a professional conference to attend. In all my years renting with Enterprise I have never had this type of experience, it really tarnishes...
Read moreIn August 2023, I reserved online a 5 passenger Large SUV for 8:30 am at the San Gabriel Enterprise Rent-a-car. The reservation was confirmed. I arrived at the counter at the appointed time to overhear a small group of people wondering if there was a small car available. There wasn’t. They were offered a reserved SUV for the lower car price. We walked to the back to see our rentals. The staff had given away my 5 pass SUV, and left me with a 4 passenger car that was too small for our use. He became abusive and intimidating to my wife and me when I asked if he could find us a car at Arcadia rather than Alhambra, which was too far in the wrong direction. I asked again and he refused, saying he chooses not to call those people with increasing agitation. We left rather than risk...
