Poke Bar — Restaurant in San Jose

Excellent alternative to Go Fish Poke which has been my everyday poke stop for a while, but they kept raising their prices. Now I can feel my happy stomach with $13 instead of the $16-17 over at Go Fish.

The worker here is VERY friendly and quick. Go Fish on the other hand has become very robotic.

I recommend getting their OG but with less sauce.

This is the same Poke Bar as the one in Santana Row so make sure you are picking up from the correct one. I believe the price is a tad bit lower than the Santana Row location too.

Remember to eat their food quickly. I used to always buy 2 pokes so I have myself a nice breakfast. However, I got hives which I suffered for 3-4 weeks after eating their poke bowl after a day...

I have been frequenting this location for many years, mostly with satisfaction. Friendly workers and my menu of choice always turns out great. This time around, someone was picking up a bowl for me, and the same dish I always got was missing key ingredients. It was the Firecracker, with specific instructions to "include everything". Because the ingredients are written on the larger menu and the paper behind the counter I assumed that there was no way to miss ingredients, but that was not the case. Amazing food and amazing staff. Jefferson is a great guy with a friendly vibe to him all around and always is happy to see me. They serve quality poke at an incredible price and in my opinion are even better quality than the Santana Row location. The westgate location has consistently had the better and fresher ingredients than the two, and the new addition of Strawberry Matcha Bobba Drinks are nothing short of perfect!
