Arrived at the Lounge on a Tuesday morning about 1 and 1/2 hours before my flight. It wasn't too packed, but there were a fair amount of people there (~15 people). There are QR codes on each of the tables/couch areas so they are able to locate you when delivering your food. The lounge has a fair amount of space. The lounge served its purpose of being a quiet place to rest a little, grab a bite, and grab a couple of drinks before taking off on the flight.
Notable mentions: Clean restroom, coffee, soda & water, outlets, drinks, food items from the website menu, juices, nuts, fruits.
Location: Across gate A15, there's an elevator that would take you up to the 2nd floor where the lounge is, or you can take the stairs up if you just have a backpack.
Service: Great, the process to check-in was seamless. For ordering food you would place your order through the website after scanning a QR code that is at the table that you're sitting -- this tells the server where you're located and what you'd like to order.
Food: They have an okay variety for a domestic lounge. For breakfast they had a variety of eggs to order through their app, but it wasn't the greatest. The scrambled eggs were a little rubbery and the hard boiled eggs had a slight tart taste to them.
Drinks: You're allowed to place 1 drink order at a time when placing your order through the website.
Best Part: It was fairly quick for them to bring out the food after placing the order through the website. It's nice that they had a fair amount of variety to choose from, but the buttered bagel was probably the best...
Read moreI recently visited The Club at SJC and had a pleasant experience overall. The lounge is located near Gate 15 in Terminal A, making it convenient for travelers flying out of this terminal.
Ambiance: The lounge has a modern and clean design with plenty of seating options. There are comfortable armchairs, workstations, and even a few dining tables. The large windows offer a nice view of the runway, which adds to the relaxing atmosphere.
Amenities: The Club at SJC offers a variety of amenities. There are complimentary snacks and beverages, including a selection of alcoholic drinks. The food options are decent, with a mix of packaged snacks and fresh items. During my visit, the lounge was well-stocked, and the food was regularly replenished.
Facilities: The lounge is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, charging stations, and a business center. There are also shower facilities available, which is a great perk for long-haul travelers. The restrooms were clean and well-maintained.
Service: The staff at The Club at SJC were friendly and attentive. They greeted me warmly upon arrival and were quick to assist with any requests. The lounge was kept tidy, and the staff ensured that everything was in order.
Overall Experience: My time at The Club at SJC was enjoyable. It's a great place to relax, catch up on work, or enjoy a snack before your flight. While the lounge can get crowded during peak hours, the overall experience is positive. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to wait for their...
Read moreUnprofessional and Extremely Rude Staff
This was the worst lounge experience I’ve ever had. I asked for hot water to take my medication in my own bottle, and when I tried to get it from the coffee machine, a staff member named Roza shouted at me and said it wasn’t allowed. I politely asked if she could get some from the kitchen, but she rudely refused.
When I asked her name, she yelled “ROZA!” and told me to leave the lounge, accusing me of misbehaving—for simply asking for hot water. Completely unacceptable. The staff urgently need customer service training.
