Easily one of the top 3 best restaurants in San Leandro, if you're into a foodie type of scene and want a real culinary experience. Their dishes are creative, tasty, and ingredients are super fresh. I've tried about half their menu already and am super excited to try the rest. Happy hour deals are a steal - $8 cocktails during happy hour (4-7pm M-F), and these are legit craft cocktails. Best old fashioned ever, made w/ Japanese Whiskey! They even did a custom cocktail for me with mezcal, and it was perfectly balanced. The service is also super warm and friendly, making it a very inviting place to be. We bring our baby there, and they are so sweet to her. They provide high chairs. She loves eating the free edamame they serve as appetizer! Nothing but positive vibes over at Banju Bay. Definitely check it out!

New place in San Leandro to grab a bite and drinks! They have happy hour from M to F 4pm to 7pm. The food ish delicious! I personally like the raw beef thingy. The butter clams are tasty and it comes with 4 mini pieces of bread. Dip it in the sauce and enjoy! I liked how the takoyaki is slight crispy on the outside. The fries reminds me of curly fries but not curly. Might have to request for seasoned fries otherwise you might get regular fries. They give nice portions for the chicken katsu curry. The corn cheese is not bad. For the sando, I prefer the shrimp than the chicken. Still haven't tried everything yet! The drinks are delicious! Will be back for more.

New Asian Fusion bar/restaurant in a quiet place of San Leandro off of Marina Blvd. They just opened up a few days ago so they're in the middle of testing out their drinks and food menu. Although the menu might be small for now, all the stuff we ordered were solid. The highlight of our meal was the carpaccio but the yakisoba was very filling and flavorful as well. The two chefs that work here have years of experience working at sushi restaurants in the bay so you can be assured the quality of the food is going to be great. I'll be looking forward to coming here again when they settle in and expand their menus.

Ate there on a Monday late evening (thank you for being open!) and was blown away. Location is unassuming, off the beaten track in a tiny neighborhood location, but the food was exciting and great. Well worth hunting it down. Highlights: Steamed egg (think tasty, ultra-light egg soufflé), Bodega Carpaccio (thinly sliced beef, outside was seared for safety, sweet/vinegar/herbed sauce), Yaki Udon (traditional with noodles, bacon, vegetables, and a very tasty dressing/sauce), Earl Grey Creme Brûlée (enough said). Great service, friendly proprietors, and good prices given the quality of the food. A joy to support a new business...
