CCH Pools — Local services in San Luis Obispo

We have worked with CCH pools in the past and they have provided us great service. We asked them to come to our location and replace and repair a part for our swim spa. Once the part was put on the next day it didn't work properly. I emailed RUSTY and asked that the technician come out and fix the problem. He called me and said the technician could come out but that the technician was not at fault for what happened. Once the technician Fernando came out he explained to our maintenance man that he had made a mistake and didn't tell our maintenance man about a reset switch. We said no problem and thank you for coming out. Rusty emailed me a service call invoice for $145.00. When I asked him what it was for, he said for them coming out. I emailed him back and said it was the fault of their technician so why would we pay for something that wasn't our fault. He said he disagreed and said that if we didn't pay our invoice we would be basically sent to collections and tacked on 20%. I could not believe how rude he was, basically calling me a liar and didn't own the fact that they made a mistake. Work of mouth is everything and I will be letting the BBB know about...

The in office people are very nice but making a scheduled time, forget it. You have to dedicate a whole day to make sure you don't miss the tech. The tech that came out told me, they only supply their brand equipment for every job, well their equipment didn't fit my spa so I told him I'd order the correct parts from my spa store. He went on to tell me the replacement parts don't always work. I trusted my instincts, got the parts, he came back another day and installed them incorrectly come to find out later down the line. He also missed the loose neutral wire on the circuit breaker. I used a specialist out of santa barbara as a second opinion and the guy fixed the problem in approx 30 seconds. Was CCH just trying to get extra money or does their tech need to get more training? And CCH never cleaned my spa like they said they would. They just hyped you up. Repairman came out to fix a leak in my spa then when it started leaking again I went back and told them the person I talked to said well the repair person said he did guarantee that he could fix it. He lied! They just want me to purchase a new one. So it's Wednesday evening and they were supposed to get back with me on Monday and never got even a call. NEVER AGAIN WILL I DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Unfortunately we already paid over $500 to them for repairs and still have the same problem!...
