Splendor Ice Cream — Local services in San Luis Obispo

Stumbled upon this by complete chance (coincidentally on their first official day open to the public!) and safe to say, we are fans. road-tripping from CO to CA and this is one of the most memorable bites we had the entire way. We left saying “I think this is the best ice cream we’ve ever had”. And let’s not forget the decor. I am such a sucker for well executed branding and whoever designed this, did. not. miss. 10000000/10 . Every corner was thoughtfully and meticulously curated and done so perfectly. Think old school ice cream parlor meets mid century modern meets Pinterest board. Truly wish we were locals so we could enjoy this place regularly. Well done...

Wow! What a great addition to SLO! Our family loved stopping in and trying out the many different flavors of creamy, delicious ice cream. The atmosphere was delightful, the staff and owners were so attentive and welcoming, and the ice cream was absolutely wonderful--a hit with everyone! We loved the horchata, beehive, train tracks, mango rice, mint, and Sally's waffle. Each flavor was unique and concocted in a way that makes you want to savor each bite, yet their generous scoop size left you satisfied! Will definitely be returning and have already recommended it to family to visit when they're in town.

We absolutely loved our visit to Splendor! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff were so friendly and patient while we decided on flavors. The ice cream itself was incredibly creamy and full of flavor - you can tell it’s made with care and high-quality ingredients. There’s a great mix of classic and creative options, and everything we tried was delicious (the beehive was my personal favorite!) - It’s such a fun spot for families or anyone looking to treat themselves.
