Terrace Hill Open Space — Attraction in San Luis Obispo

I've climbed up this hill with a friend both during the day and during the evening. It's a great vantage point to be able to see the lights of all the climbers of Madonna mountain. My friend likes to call this place flat top hill. It's just a leisurely walk in the middle of town. It's a very easy climb and has a pretty decent view and some nice benches that would be good for an outdoor lunch even on a work day if you don't have the time for something more extensive. This is one of my personal favorite "hikes" in SLO if you want to call it that. It takes about 5-10 minutes from parking to the top, but the view is worth much more than that.
