The food deserves 5 stars, but the service is what brought it down. We came here as a group of 5 on Saturday. We got there at 1:30 and placed our orders by 1:45. It took 25min for the food to come out. One of the orders came out wrong, she had asked for fries with her sandwich but got a salad. Which was fine... Until she found a hair. We had to get the waiters attention because at no point during our meal did he check on us or even offer to refill our water. The waiter just took her plate away without apologizing or anything. Instead of bring her sandwich back so she could eat it while waiting for her side, she had to wait an additional 8 minutes for it to come back out... The waiter cane back out and just set her plate down and left.... Still no apology or offer to refill the water At the very least... At this point we are there past the closing time... This is the best part... Our waiter comes out and says word for word, "Can you guys hurry up because we need to leave too." At this point I think we all had had enough. This was our first time here, and our last.

With all the great reviews for this place I wonder if there is another Bon Temps that I mistakenly went to. Nope, this is the same one When I tried my bloody Mary and the cornbread I was excited because they were both great. But unfortunately it went downhill fast after that. We ordered seafood gumbo and fried shrimp salad. I'm not exaggerating when I say there wasn't even a slight taste of Creole or spiciness in either dish.Nada. It tasted like I would expect something from Denny's to taste like. Furthermore, seafood gumbo is supposed to be thick with fish. Take a look at the picture. Then Google a picture of seafood gumbo. Quite a difference, no? We were really looking forward to this place. Unfortunately it didn't work for us.

Ok so... I've been to New Orleans more times than I can count... and I love southern Cajun and Creole cuisine. This place does a pretty good job, and it's a great location and atmosphere. Sat out on the patio. Heads up though... Sunday morning brunch time, be prepared for a wait or slow service, they are packed! Lines our the door waiting. And for my breakfast entree, it was delicious, except for the dry dense biscuits, which was surprising. Honestly, I think they were short handed today and had a help wanted sign in the window. I would come back for sure though, which is what we all really want to know.

This one has been on the to go to list forever. Finally got a chance to eat here and I'm kicking myself for not trying it earlier! Grabbed a late breakfast and enjoyed the outdoor seating. Casual atmosphere with a food lovers vibe. The FayDo is delicious and the hash browns perfectly crispy. The PoBoy half is a meal for two. Expect to have leftovers. I don't even want to know how many calories. Service was slower than expected but the quality of the food more than made up for it. Because we waited so long an appetizer or bread would be nice to have. Go hungry, be patient and enjoy the meal.

Pleasantly surprised. Older rustic looking building with older looking outdoor patio. The rustic look spans the entire restaurant inside and out. Menu has a great selection of creole dishes. The food was fantastic. The plates were put together as if they were pieces of art. Everything was hot and fresh. The sweet cornbread was excellent. The service was excellent. Our server, I'm sorry I've forgotten her name, was very friendly and attentive to our needs. I would recommend everyone giving this place a try as you will find yourself repeating your visit over and over.

Had an omelet that was out of this world. Very short on time so I got the food to go. Would love to go back and experience the place when I can sit down and enjoy the atmosphere. Great looking place.
