I ordered my furniture on March 18th while deployed to another country for the Army. I had a really great initial feeling about the company, but I wish I'd been more skeptical.
My contract warned of wait times for delivery of approximately 12-16 weeks. This was okay, as long as it arrived before my wife had her baby in Late July. The baby ended up being late, but not as late as our furniture, which wasn't ready until September 7th. I was okay with this because the folks at Leather Showroom were great at communicating with me and keeping me up to date.
Our email notifying us that the furniture was ready warned we might have to wait 10-14 days before delivery could be scheduled. Oh well, we'd waited this long. It also warned that deliveries were getting rescheduled 2-3 times. But they already had our money so we had no choice.
Our delivery has been rescheduled 5 times. First the furniture wasn't at the warehouse. Then they weren't running that delivery route, then the route was overbooked. For nearly 2 months our furniture has been in a warehouse an hour from my house, but couldn't be delivered.
My favorite excuse was today, when my furniture was scheduled to be delivered, when I had moved the old couch out and cleared a path. Today we were told our furniture couldn't be delivered because our delivery drivers didn't have the required documentation to get on post (My family lives on Fort Hood). Required documentation is a government issued ID, to include a driver's license. So my furniture has been delayed again.
We are now at 32 weeks and 6 days since I ordered. And we've given up hope. Leather Showroom has thousands of my dollars, and has had them for months beyond the original delivery window. I don't recommend them. At least, not if you want your furniture within the next 6 months.
Update:
Our furniture arrived a week after posting my review. Leather Showroom hired a local guy to deliver the furniture since Metropolitan wasn't getting it done.
On the furniture: We love it. It's an enormous improvement and our entire family (I have 5 kids) can now fit on chairs in the living room. Hannah also reached out to see if there was anything she could do to make it right.
Leather Showroom's sales team and customer service is incredibly nice and courteous. I can't praise them enough for that. I also recognize that they are not in the delivery or manufacturing business. They're in the middle man business. Which means they should be judged on customer experience.
The problems I experienced weren't their fault, but they weren't mine either, and while I understand the difficulties of the days we live in, I don't like that they didn't make the effort to get the delivery done until I was requesting a refund and calling...

My experience with Leather Showroom - Please read before you buy. 13 months, no furniture & they still want me to pay in full.
This saga started when we ordered furniture (Couch & Ottoman) on 4/10/2020. We paid in full upfront (silly me), but I did use American Express which was critical down the line.
On 07/29/2020, the order was finally delivered, well past the date we were promised & not in time for my first grandchild’s baby shower….So we had and empty living room for that. How embarrassing. Note all the while, the furniture was in a warehouse only a few hours from my house - for multiple weeks, but Leather Showroom could not seem to make this a priority to get delivered.
It gets worse - The delivery company for Leather Showroom damaged the furniture upon delivery.
We followed their rules and attempted to have the furniture repaired via a Leather Showroom selected vendor, but it was not successful
It only gets more unbelievable: On 08/13/2020 The Leather Showroom agrees to re-order my furniture, with the correct feet this time (they ordered the wrong feet for the couch the first time). The furniture is completed and the manufacturer confirms the shipment was made on 11/06/2020. Great….maybe we will get this prior to Thanksgiving!
Nope. After a few weeks of run around on 11/28/2020: The Leather Showroom indicates they have lost the re-order. Yes, they lost a full couch and ottoman!
But they still have my money, so they want to order it again….
Uh no. Thankfully Amex up holds their word and credited us.

After shopping at the local leather furniture store - and almost being forced to buy a leather sofa I did NOT like ... I decided to look online and see what options were available. I was lucky to meet Mike by phone!! I asked him questions galore over multiple calls .. he never once was short or curt with me ... on the contrary, he encouraged me to take my time and think about the purchase; he said my choice was a pricey one and certainly one to last a long time. I felt comfort that this was not just a slam dunk sell. Since we live in South Florida - I was not able to come in person to the showroom - so I had to go by phone conversations and get the comfort to spend 6k+ over the phone without personally seeing what I was buying ... but I liked everything about what I heard on the calls with Mike and his professional demeanor. He spent a good portion of Memorial Day on a photo shoot to give me a good idea on exactly what I would be getting and the color options ... I committed and gave down 50% of the price that day . Mike said the sofa should arrive in 12 - 14 weeks - and that is exactly how it happened. I received my BEAUTIFUL Natuzzi sofa with a white glove delivery service just as he promised !!!
