I rented a unit 3 months ago (5x10 for $68.00 per month) and all was going well. When I went on line yesterday to pay my bill I recieved a message regarding my next months billing. When I read the message it said my April bill would be increased to $128 or $138 ( I dont remember) per month going forward. I thought it was a mistake so I called the manager. She said that if I would have read my lease agreement or remembered it said I (we) are subject to rent increases every few months and it was just their policy to do so for no reason at all. I do remember reading something about that but didnt think about it actually happening for no reason. When I told her I had a unit at Public storage for 6 years they never did such a thing to loyal on time paying and respectful customer. Her reply was, well every storage place does things differently. I said thanks and hung up. Needless to say I will be moving to another storage facility before my next bill is due. SO RENTER BEWARE! I guess they dont care if your a respectful loyal on time paying customer they just want to get as much money as possible and dont care about keeping long term good customers. The facility is brand new so everything is super clean, there are security cameras covering every door to every building, and each renter gets a unique code to open the main gate and their specific building. After signing up for a free reservation, I got a call from Monica to help me finalize the rental agreement over the phone, but I was a little nervous because I've never rented a storage unit before. She helped me find a good time to come into the office so we could review the contract together before signing. When I came in, Stacey was there and she showed me multiple units, where to find the bathrooms, and where I could find the complementary dollys. Then she sat with me for over an hour, giving me time to read through the entire rental agreement and answering all my questions.
