The Elite swim camp at SIU (Carbondale, Illinois) was not very impressive in general.
During the practice, the coaches were supervising BOTH the kids from the camp AND SIU swim team, which means they all had to share a swimming pool. I think this was a huge disappointment.
They also did not plan well for the rainy days; kids were asked to stay in the building. Kids ended up having too much down time on their own in their dorm room. Hoping the access to cell phone could be limited and more backup plans to bring the kids TOGETHER.
