Pho Hoa + Jazen Tea (San Ramon) — Restaurant in San Ramon

Poor poor service and food was missing items with zero flavor. Bathroom has no soap or paper towels. No one comes to check on you ever even after there's a problem. We used to come here all the time and usually the food is good. The service is usually poor even though the people that work here are really nice they just aren't trained properly. They stand around even when the place is empty. You have to get up if you want a refill on your water. I waited 10 minutes and no one ever came by. They made our order wrong never checked on it afterward, I complained something was missing so I was brought soy sauce as a solution. I complained again because something was really off. One of the waiters realized there was no mayonnaise on my sandwich. After the cook brought it out the second time no one ever came back to the table to check. It still had no flavor but I wasn't going to complain a second time. No one comes by to see if you need anything ever. The only time they come over is to take your order, bring your drinks, and the cook comes out and drops off your food. Again really nice people that work here but they lack training. After I got home I realized more stuff was missing from my Sandwich. Both mine and my husband's orders were made wrong both the first and second times. Very...

Went here yesterday with my cousin, the kids fell asleep in the car on the way there so we decided to just order the food togo. Unfortunately that wasn’t possible as the cashier (shorter girl with glasses who also claimed she was the supervisor) said we couldn’t order kids menu items because the children weren’t in the restaurant. We explained they were in the car sleep, but she insisted that we could not order. No where on the menu did it say this, what It did say was to order togo would be a extra .65 cents and after going back and forth asking her to show us where this was stated, she couldn’t so we just decided to leave with NO FOOD. I called back to speak to someone and they put her on the phone we’re she then proceeded to tell me it’s LAW!!?? It’s law that you can’t order a kids meal togo unless you wake your children up and actually bring them in a restaurant??! During COVID were some places aren’t even allowing indoor dinning???? After a long flight and long drive from SFO to San Ramon, the family that was hankering for some soup noodles. Pho Hoa was on the way to our final destination so we decided to give it a go, and I'm glad we did. This establishment is spotless, and I mean it. It's the cleanest restaurant I've ever reviewed. I was observing the staff and there is always constant table wiping, and counter/machine cleaning when there is down time. Even the washrooms were spotless, amazing.

Apart from its cleanliness, the food is so good. Coming from Canada we had forgotten how large some portions are here in the USA. The regular sized Pho was huge! Did I mention the food was good? The broth was amazing, and meat to noodle ratio is spot on. Even presentation was excellent. This is very unexpected for me at a Pho establishment.

The drinks were also excellent, and again, HUGE. Very tasty, cold and made well, especially the Thai tea. Lastly the staff are amazing. They are efficient, and very friendly, and really went above and beyond my expectations. Do yourself a favour and pay them a visit. It will be a satisfying experience. Highly...
