The supervisor here really knows how to abuse his power. His UPS rules even override what the UPS representative told us. He ganged up with his crew and refused to listen to our reasoning. One of the crew members even dared us to call the police. I have never felt this unsafe at a UPS store. I hope everyone won’t have a dispute with him because he will use his self claimed power and overly restrictive rules to traumatize you. I’d rather travel farther to other UPS stores than feeling unsafe and being treated like a second class citizen.

Got a call from a woman claimed herself to be the manager today. The woman called me “not easy to work with” before I even said anything. She asked me to bring a utility bill as a proof of my identity. I tried to explain to her that the ups representative over the phone asked us to bring the utility bill to prove that we were indeed the receiver to pick up the package. But the supervisor at the ups store argued with the representative over the phone saying that “anyone can get a letter like this” and refused to release our packages to us. The store manager again called me not easy to work with and said that her three employees all called me not easy to work with.
How easy could you be when you were dared to call the police? How easy could you be when you tried to pick up your package but were treated like a second class citizen? And if you are the store manager, I think I can understand why your employees are so poor at handling disputes. Seems like the whole store is not trying to work with their customers but against their customers when there is a dispute.
I’d rather lose my money than picking up my packages from your store. Thank you very much for retraumatizing me. I hope you enjoy your outstanding customer services.
Again I hope everyone who steps into the store will never have a dispute with them.

To the person who responded to me: of course your employees will say my review didn’t line up with their experiences. We brought the ID and the utility bill to prove our identity but your supervisor argued with the UPS representative. You claimed that your employees were just following your rules. But what you told me during the phone call (I.e., bring the utility bill) is different than what they said to us (I.e., everyone can get a utility bill like that). Since she seldom gives ratings, I'm doing it for her because I believe good services deserve good ratings and customers deserve better places like this for their needs. During her visits, my wife said people here are super patient and helpful and they won't hesitate to go the extra mile to help. Last time my wife went there for a background clearance for a job offer in Dublin, and when the staff had already spent some time on it and was almost done with the process they found out that only certain ups stores in Dublin are authorized to do that on the employer's expense. they immediately made some calls and figured out which exact store in Dublin can do that without charges to my wife, instead of just telling her that she should go find it herself. well, they made no money from us during that visit, but they won our trust and we're thankful for them. I brought the same return item here after the UPS Store on Bollinger in Gale Ranch gave me the 'not my problem' routine. The staff member here also said it couldn’t ship as-is, but instead of shutting me down, he offered a solution - an oversized shipping bag for $4. Quick, courteous, problem solved.
This is exactly the type of person you want handling your shipments: calm, helpful, and not allergic to customer service. From now on, all my UPS business goes here.
