I was really excited to try BFT, but my experience at this location was honestly awful. From the moment I walked in, it was overcrowded with more than 25 people in a small space, three per station, and hardly any room to move. Before class, I was handed a heart rate monitor. I asked if it was required, since I have a heart condition I use my own medical-grade monitor to track safely. They said it was mandatory, so I put it on. Within minutes of the workout, the strap was painfully tight and cutting into my skin, so I took it off and placed it in my cubby. Then things got uncomfortable fast. A staff member came up to me mid-workout saying, โ€œI donโ€™t see you on the board.โ€ I explained the strap issue, but soon after, another woman approached me and told me, โ€œYou either need to wear your heart rate monitor or you need to leave.โ€ I was shocked that someone would speak to a new member that way. No one had explained the board system to me, and instead of offering help or an alternate size, she made it sound like I was breaking a rule. I explained the same thing to her that the strap was cutting into my skin and uncomfortable but she said I couldn't stay and workout without the monitor and so I told her I'd put it on at the next break. I then walked over to my cubby and awkwardly pull up my shirt in front of everyone to put it on since there is only 45 secs between stations. She saw me struggling to put it on and then finally asked me if I wanted another size! Woah light bulb! Too late she was wasting my time I said no and walked off. The rest of the class was chaotic. After getting my strap back on I walk over to the bike. The person before me took extra time and didn't get off until after the 45 second rest break which is after her stations set causing me to lose time on my station since she got off once my time started. I had to then set up the bike height and the foot straps. Keep in mind the stations are only about 2 mins so I'm not starting my station until 1 minute in. So when my time was up I was like maybe I should get my seconds back here. The trainer told me I needed to switch and move stations. But I explained I had lost precious time on my bike. He said it was because the other member was doing a test. lol really! So me a paying customer(about $25 class 11 credits w classpass) loses time so she can take a test? Tests should be after class or a special class time. I have been to many gyms and group fitness studios, from large ones to boutique spaces, and I have never been treated this rudely. I came to work out, not to be embarrassed or micromanaged over a piece of equipment that should have been optional. In fact the webpage says it is "encouraged" see image below. BFT might have a good concept, but this studio completely missed the mark on professionalism, accessibility, and basic respect. I will not be back.

Just wrapped up my first week at this amazing Body Fit location. The sign says you will feel it in 2 weeks. I already feel better and stronger after just this week! The trainers are very knowledgeable and provide personal tips and coaching. You get to wear a heart rate monitor so they can help you stay in the optimal training zone. The staff are incredible and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and taken care of. All the equipment you need is here and the best part is the program and training is excellent. I love seeing many of the same small group regulars and we encourage each other as we go through the paces. The place is also really fresh, clean and new. You can even get a body analysis to help you understand what you need to work on to achieve body balance and muscle goals. If you are looking to improve your shape, your strength and your health at a price that beats the big corporate gym/clubs, this is the team to join. You won't be disappointed.

Attentive and knowledgeable trainers who keep you on track and correct form when needed. The studio is uber clean! ๐Ÿ‘ Jane the owner was so helpful & welcoming too. Reminded me of my BFF ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ˜ƒ. Supportive members who encourage each other also. Highly recommend this studio for overall strength & cardio fitness. Both have been on my bucket list as a lifelong runner. Joined w/my teenage son and enjoying a new aspect of training together besides our running. Looking forward to seeing how it will positively benefit our running too. ๐Ÿ˜‰

BFT San Ramon's coaches are absolute superstars. They bring expert-level knowledge to every single class while maintaining the perfect balance of pushing you to your limits and providing modifications when needed. They remember your name, your goals, and even your struggles - making every session feel like personalized training.

The workouts are incredibly diverse and challenging. I'm never bored because each day brings something new. The gamification aspect of the workouts is pure genius. Earning those bronze, silver, and gold medals has brought out my competitive side in the best possible way - I find myself pushing harder just to level up.

The facility itself is intelligently designed for every type of workout. The layout maximizes space while ensuring everyone has room to move safely. The equipment is always pristine and cutting-edge. You can tell the owners have thought about every single detail of the member experience.

What impresses me most is how the entire team considers the complete athlete experience. From specialized events to community challenges, they're constantly innovating to keep members engaged and excited. The supportive community they've fostered is unlike anything I've experienced at other gyms.

If you're on the fence about joining, just do it. BFT San Ramon isn't just a gym - it's a fitness community that will transform both your body and mindset. Best decision I've made for my...
