I am not usually the one to write reviews, but my experience was just too disappointing. My girlfriends and I decided to go to Tre Vele for book club night and I have to say I was extremely disappointed the way we were treated by our server, Bianca. It was not our first time there so we decided to go back because our previous experience was great. We got seated around 9PM, she greeted us about 5-10min later? We asked if there was bread service and she said yes, but she didnât like doing it because she had to go downstairs (we asked to be seated upstairs). Not sure why she felt it was okay to say that. We ordered our drinks, which took somewhat longer than usual and you could see they were just sitting at the bar. Bread service took almost 15min to get to us, so it was already like 9:30PM at this point (kitchen closes at 10PM). One of my girls got her attention as we were ready to order and she said she couldnât help her and left. We can see her standing next to the bar doing who knows what. We ordered our main dishes at ~9:45PM and she said that the kitchen was slow, but we should get our appetizers shortly. At this point we had ordered another bread service since we had been sitting down for 45min with only one bread service. She wasnât very happy. Also 2 of my gfs order a second round of drinks and I had to tell the manager it had been 20-25min as he approached us and asked if everything was ok (it was not). Appetizers get to the table and one of them was not what we ordered, I told the waiter that brought them what we got instead. Our food finally arrived after 10PM and 2 of our dishes were cold at this point. Funny enough the appetizer we originally ordered is set on the table after we got our food. She never came to our table to check on us or ask if we needed anything, only when we ordered food/drinks and would take forever or try to be funny? Oh, and our waters never get refilled until one of my gfs got up to ask for some water at the bar (after 10PM) and she does not drink so she was only drinking water. She didnât refill them for us, it was a different waitress. We asked for the check and told her to split it 7 ways and to not include the appetizer that we did not ordered, she responded in a very passive-aggressive way. She brought one check with the appetizer that we did not order. At this point I went downstairs to get the manager, but he had already left (it was 10:45 at this point). I expressed my disappointment to TJ and Bobby, whom were amazing, took take care of the check and fixed it. Very nice people and professional. We tried to enjoy our night as much as we could, but Bianca made it very...
Read moreCalled same day maybe 10-15m in advance to see if we could be accommodated. Itâs the long weekend and we did not reserve anything. So we definitely understood that it would be hard to find a place for 4ppl last minute. When calling they said they had their lower patio available, so we went ahead and took that option because we all were hungry by this point, haha. First and foremost, when you get there they have valet. So just parked nearby at open parking next to it or in the Kroger shopping center (in the same complex). Not sure how much the valet was, since we never asked nor parked there. Secondly, when being greeted by the host, she was not welcoming at all. She didnât even smile once while saying hi nor while taking us to our seats. The ambiance inside was really nice and more of that dark, romantic, and intimate vibe. It gave a slight âhigh endâ feeling but not so much. Our server, Larry, was kind and went through the menu with us since it was all of our first time. We ordered the Fettuccine (added shrimp), Squid Ink Pasta (clams on the side), and Cacio E Pepe (no meat). There was a few slices of bread given complimentary with an olive oil and vinaigrette to dip it in. It was nice, but they never offered or asked if we wanted more. Our entrees came shortly after, didnât have to wait too long for them, and they were quite small in portions (comparing to US Italian standards for pasta and the price), but it was kind of expected based on the look and âhigher endâ feeling they had inside. Larry came by with some fresh Parmesan and grated that for whomever wanted that.
The lower patio is pretty comfortable since the weather was great the day we went, but there were a lot of small tiny white flies. I wish they had some sort of fly burner going on or at least a small fan⌠we do live in HOTlanta where itâs hot majority of the year, so not sure why they wouldnât have that for a patio.
My personal rating the Fettuccine was okay, didnât have enough sauce, al dente cooked pasta, and was slightly âblandâ or dry due to no sauce. But the mushrooms and shrimp add-on were good. Everyone liked the Cacino E Pepe the best. The flavors were great, enough sauce, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. The friend who ordered the Squid Ink Pasta did not like the pasta portion. It felt a little undercooked and didnât taste well. After we were done, we went to check out the upstairs patio and it was BEAUTIFUL. It definitely felt fun and more of an event space where you can really have fun with friends to celebrate something or...
Read moreThe good. After eating the food, I donât understand how this restaurant has a 4.3 at this time. But eating in the restaurant gives me a bit of understanding. The food is delicious and respectable chef plated food. The octopus was amazing it came with potato salad with raisins đ¤Śđżââď¸âŚ. But surprisingly itâs description is just wrong, I would have never ordered it if it was from the description but since it came to our table accidentally, it was Devine. Itâs more of a hash with fried potatoes. My wife ordered the the parmesan cheese wheel pasta with truffle. One of the best things I have eaten, creamy and flavorful. I ordered the lamb ragu. The bolognese was really good and definitely didnât taste like some chef Boyardee flavor. The lamb was tender and the pasta had to be made in house. The whipped ricotta was good too with the flatbread. The artichokes were a bit cold at entry but had flavor but not my favorite. The bad, my reservations were at 8, I arrived 15 minutes early and was not seated until 8:30. My server never introduced herself well and we never got her name. She was very distant from us and service. She was telling us about the menu and we decided what we wanted but she finished speaking and left without trying to get our order. When she finally came back she took our drink order and another hiatus. Finally we were able to order and food began to come out slowly. We got the octopus because she wasnât listening and gave us whatever because we ordered the artichoke, that was cool because they âcompedâ the đ. Then we eventually got our food and the waitress was gone again for 20 plus minutes as I watched another party get there Parmesan wheel pasta and complete the food before she returned. They also got the their check first. I donât think our waitress was knowledgeable even though I could tell she has eaten the food. I ordered an few drinks, my kids were there. Ticket was 239 on a Tuesday. It was also my wifeâs birthday with I addressed a few times and just had to tell the waitress hey itâs my wifeâs birthday. Food top tier⌠Service...
