My wife and I spent a good portion of a day in here selecting all new furniture for our new house. Everyone was nice, we spoke with the owner etc. We made a large order between a brand new sectional, a bed and a few other odds and ends. Which was multiple thousands of dollars.
Upon delivery of our sectional, we noticed there was no ottoman with our order, which was part of the reason we bought it. They ensured us it came with the sectional at the store.
After some phone calls back and forth, turns out they made a mistake and it wasnt part of the deal. Even the sales person admitted she said it came with it an owned the mistake, but the manger would not give us the ottoman. They offered a nice discount, but I wasnt happy with that. Especially after spending multiple thousands of dollars.
Then it took over a month to get our pillows we ordered. They sat at the warehouse for a week and no one called us, even when they said they would call when it came it. I had to do all the calling and following up.
As a business owner myself, when I or one of my employees make a mistake, we own it. We take full responsibility and make sure our customer is 100% taken care of.
This really irritates me and has kinda left a sour taste in my mouth. The chances I spend anymore money here is slim to none.
Word of advice, make sure your getting everything you think you are. While this is only a small misstep on their end, it should have been...
Read moreWe initially got a call saying that we had over $200 coming to us, from not using the warranty on 2 chairs we bought from Miller's 5 years ago. We drove to Dubois to pick out something, but when we got there, were told it had to be used on something valued hundreds more. So we left, and I wrote a note explaining our frustration. Dan Furman got back to us the next day, and was simply fantastic. He apologized profusely, and said that he would make it right. He put that $$$ into an account, set it up for us completely, sent us documentation of same, and was as kind as he could be. We ordered a recliner over the phone. We were called when it arrived. I drove up to get it, and the process was seamless. 2 men brought it to the car, unboxed it for me, and loaded it in 2 sections. It assembled easily, and it looks and feels wonderful.
