Dollar Tree — Local services in Sandy

Ok. so basically I feel like I live at this location sometimes.. And I'm pretty sure the employees here think the same. And no, I do not work here. And I usually drop quite a bit of money here whenever I do go. I think it goes without saying that I fully love this dollar store location and the employees, service, selection, and amount of stocked items. Speaking of, if you shop around to various locations, you will definitely notice that this location has EVERYTHING stocked. You will very very very rarely see boxes of new inventory or carts full of go-backs lining aisles. Even if you go there as much as I do. And I definitely cannot say nearly the same thing about any other locations in Portland metropolitan.

The employees here are sweet, genuine, hard working, friendly, and tactful (and also.... NOT racist, unlike some of the other comments here seem to convey). I'm not even totally sure why anyone would read into an employees simple mistake as racism. Everyone gets tired at work; no one is perfect. I have never seen any employee treat any customer negatively, no matter how many times I have witnessed crazy customer behavior and felt very very bad for the employees ..... who actually dealt with each situation with grace and professionalism.

I went to your Store In Sandy Oregon. I bought several items and wanted to purchase 4 balloons for my grand daughters birthday tomorrow. A young man was behind the register. I told him that I wanted to purchase 4 balloons. He Didn’t ring them up. . Please I want to pay all at once and not wait on line again. Ok he said he gave me my receipt and told me he can’t blow up the balloon's until the line is gone. I waited and after 2 more customers went thru the line , I said your line is getting longer. Not happy he looked at me and said that is why I didn’t want to ring you up. You could come back tomorrow. I am thinking WHAT . The next customer on line God bless his heart said, just take care of her. It took less than one minute to blow up the balloon’s as the string was attached to each one already. I thanked that customer several times. You need to train your employees. I waited in line also. No customer service. Only 2 people working the day Sunday before Thanksgiving. ...

This location is worth the 15 minute drive. Clean, well-organized & never crowded. I always find things here not seen at other locations. Seems slightly larger than others, there's an added area adjacent to cash registers featuring additional knickknacks, like iridescent mermaid & unicorn items.The employees are really nice, lines never longer than one customer ahead of me. I really like the shopping center too, easy in & out off highway, good selection of stores (Dollar Tree, Bi-Mart, Grocery Outlet, Baskin- Robbins ice cream). I love the drive out to Sandy. Close though it may be, the drive is just long enough to relax you, pretty countryside views, lack of commercialism,...
