You must have a membership to shop here. There is an interior gate with an attendant, just flash them your membership card and you'll be in with no wait. If you don't have a membership, it's very easy to sign up. $5 one-time fee for your family to have a lifetime membership. Easy-peasy.
Once you're inside, you'll find an assortment of goods. Clothes, outdoor gear, fishing, firearms, groceries, housewares, garden supply, etc. This store is definitely themed towards rural living and the things you might need for a rural lifestyle.
If you need assistance, it's easy to find someone to help you. The staff are friendly, and they all have - at minimum - an acceptable customer service aptitude. Most staff are willing to go above-and-beyond for customer needs.
The only time you may wait for service is if you're wanting something that is from a secure area such as a glass case or rack. Once help arrives, they are friendly and attentive - but do not expect them to be as knowledgeable on the secure items as a specialty shop would be.
Overall, Bi-Mart is a nice place to shop. You don't shop here to save money, or to find the best selection - you shop here because it's a laid back experience that has the things most people need and it doesn't add more stress to your day when...
Read moreI do a lot of shopping there, because the variety of many of them fulfill my needs.. I have only one complaint, as I'm a musician since 4 years old. The background noise called music distracts me when I'm reading ingredients or trying compare prices on different brands. I brought it up one time to the Manager and he said that I was the 1st and only one that had a complaint and that many like it. So much for my tastes in music. Haha. I have played Electric Bass professionally. I played in Hong Kong and in almost every state. We only played and sang songs with melody. Modern music usually has no melody. Very irritating to me.
But good prices on things I need and want. Such as computer stuff, Electric Razors, office supplies, new hair brush, Lava Bar Soap, Brylcream for the hair, Distilled water, wiper blades, automotive stuff, car battery, ammo, fishing tackle, new bedding recently. Almost endless. Great place to shop if I remember to mute my hearing aids. There are some advantages to being deaf. Also, there's a time and place for everything. Shopping is not the time for music. And that's in my...
Read moreI likely can't offer an "unbiased" opinion, for I've been a lifelong Bi-Mart member for 40+ years. However, during that 40 years of patronage, I've enjoyed nothing less than stellar customer service from the baker's dozen of Bi-Mart stores of the various cities I've resided within. Bi-Mart, carries a vast assortment of "stuff" from soup ta nuts, including the kitchen sink. In stores that serve more rural areas, they even stock many livestock needs. Bi-Mart is the modern version of the General Store of yesteryear. If they don't got it at Bi-Mart...ya probably don't need it. Keep in mind, Bi-Mart is a "members only" organization and you need to enroll as a member, but it's very, very, "worth it". I think the lifetime membership cost is still a meager $5. Prices for the stuff you're going to buy, are genuinely less than most anywhere else offering the same products. Most likely, the very first time you do some shopping at Bi-Mart, the savings on the "stuff" you buy will more than offset the cost of your LIFETIME...
